Keith Lockhart Tickets

Was unaware he would be with only five brass musicians. I very much enjoyed his narration, however, the accoustics were terrible. I didn't realize that the audio up in the balcony would be so bad. Keith Lockhart was speaking very soft so the volume could have been better. I also didn't know that the third row in the balcony would have obstructed view because of the balcony railing which cut across exactly where the entertainers were sitting, including Keith Lockhart. The show itself was very entertaining. The narrative and music were both excellent.

The show was not what I had expected but it turned out fine once Keith and his 5 piece brass section was on stage. He went over his past 20 years with the brass playing some in the intervals. I would have wished the show was presented in a clearly written\defined description of what was to happened such as I was not aware that college was there for fund raising when I bought the tickets on line. They moved our seats which I was not happy with as I wanted to be in the center to see the entire stage -- they moved us to the side upfront directly in front of the speakers.

I thought there would be more music wrath than a history of the Pops At times difficult to hear.

The event was not what my wife and I expected. We had assumed it would be an evening of just music. But it turned out to be so much more! The "friends" Keith brought along was some of his brass section - who played samples of Pops tunes through the years. The music was interspersed with a little bit of history regarding the BSO and a lot of personal information about Keith. He came through as a humble, caring, talented conductor, with a great sense of humor. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening.

Fantastic event! Can't wait for them to come back to town! I will definitely purchase tickets when they return to Winston-Salem!

Boston Pops performance was outstanding. Vocalist time on stage could be reduced. Ticket ordering procedure was far too complicated.

The Orchestra gave a flawless performance. We felt as though we were listening to a live, in person, recording of a movie. The addition of Ms. Ann Hampton Calloway singing Striesand's hits was like being front row of a Broadway show! We would highly recommend the show for anyone with a love for any type of music. We cannot wait until they return to the area.
