It's been more than 35 years since reclusive British singer-songwriter Kate Bush has graced the stage with her ethereal voice and idiosyncratic choreography, and the long wait has made her return to the spotlight that much sweeter for devoted fans. Indeed, lore surrounding Bush's legendary performances reached mythic proportions in her absence, making certain that her string of 2014 "Before the Dawn" dates at London's Hammersmith Apollo was the tour announcement heard round the world. Returning to the stage with her unmistakable alto, unconventional wardrobe, and signature dance moves, Bush will live up to her fabled reputation with career-spanning sets that include everything from early hits like "Wuthering Heights" and "Babooshka" to seminal classics like "Running Up That Hill" and "Hounds of Love".

Born to a musical family in Welling, England, Kate Bush taught herself piano at the age of 11, writing her own  music and add adding lyrics a few years later. Her 1979 debut album launched her to international stardom virtually overnight as lead single "Wuthering Heights" topped charts around the world and established her as the first female in British history to land at No. 1 with a self-written song. Despite her decision to stop touring in 1979, she topped the UK Albums Chart with her epochal third album Never for Ever  in 1980 and landed within the Top 5 of the chart with her next seven albums -- including 2011's 50 Words for Snow. In 2014 Bush thrilled fans with the announcement of her "Before the Dawn" series of shows in London, her first live performances in 35 years.
