A Mother’s Love is a story that captures the roller-coaster relationship between a mother and daughter. It depicts how tough it can be for a mother to let go and allow her daughter to make her own decisions when it comes to love. The story chronicles the daughter’s all-girl music group as they prepare for a life changing performance. Will the mother finally respect her daughter’s wishes to make her own decisions? Will the daughter choose to love the DREAMER-a man with potential who loves her and is working towards his dreams, or the PROVIDER- a man who in the eyes of her mother has accomplished his dreams and arrived. Will the mother be successful in pushing her into the arms of another man? Torn between accepting the life her daughter wants and forcing the life she thinks her daughter should have, this is A Mother’s Love.
I enjoyed it from the beginning to the end. Bella had me laughing; Shirley Murdock singing brought me to tears; I knew Kandi could sing, but I had no idea she had chops like that. Wonderful job to the entire cast. Buy your tickets and take your mother with you!
This play is fantastic! If I can go see it in every city I would. You can't get this type of entertainment on TV! Kandi surprised me with her vocals, who knew such a powerful voice resided in such a tiny person! Funky Divena, can't get enough! And that Shirley Murrdock WOW! This is a story EVERY MOTHER SHOULD SEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You have got to see this show! Phenomenal. Beginning could have been more accurate with timing, but overall this is a show you must see!
