Outstanding show and I loved every minute of it. All was just perfect in every way. Loved the film clips and thoroughly enjoyed her wonderful stories.

Had an amazing time at An Evening of Conversation with Julie Andrews. Loved her stories, personal anecdotes, humor and career and family videos. More than ever she seems like a person you would love to know! I would highly recommend this show to serious Julie Andrews fans and to anyone who has ever enjoyed a Julie Andrews movie!

Wonderful evening with Julie Andrews! Moderator was great too. I felt like I was listening to 2 great friends sitting around chatting. Julie is everything you'd hope she would be! I highly recommend this experience!!!

Julie was amazing, but the moderator was just okay. He seemed very focused on his questions and less interested in her answers or establishing any real conversation. There were times when he could have followed up on things she said but he was so buried in his notes, he just kept going. I don't even know if he was actually listening to her.

Before she even graced the stage we watch clips from her long stage/screen/television career. Many of the clips have not been send before and seeing her early to the current was a wonderful trip down memory lane. Once Julie made her entrance on to the stage the place went crazy, she is so elegant and graceful. She didn't answer too quickly, she always thought out her answers, a real pro. She touched on all major points of her life. From start to finish the show was worth it.

Julie Andrews was amazing!! I loved hearing the stories about her life. She is a real treat and I would go again for sure.

Julie Andrews was as nice in person as she seems to be on the screen or stage. She mentioned several times how lucky she and her family was, but I hope she realizes that a lot of her luck came from hard work and talent. The only real detractor all night was the terrible stage setup. The potted plants and the big bouquet of carnations reminded me of the waiting room in a funeral parlor. Other than that, the two and a half hours went by in a flash. Long life and a happy one to you and your family, Julie.

Julie Andrews is one of the most elegant and gracious women we will ever have in our midst. Watching clips from her extensive movie and television career was spellbinding and a wonderful trip into the past and the glorious world of entertainment. Listening to Julie speak about her career and personal life was fascinating and informative. Unfortunately, there is always a need for more time. The questions and interview revolved around three or four movies and Carol Burnett specials; it would have been nice to hear Julie talk about many of her lesser known movies as well. Overall, it was wonderful to listen to an entertainer that so appreciates being "lucky" and having good fortune come her way.

Julie was, as ever she is, magnificent, charming, and altogether far too gracious for the likes of people like Dean Richards. She was funny, open, a wonderful host, and she tolerated having a horrid moderator on the very last leg of her promotional tour to a level of grace and class that is not often seen. Although it was not her job, she tried desperately to shape and lead the conversation so that it was well-rounded and representative of both her book and her person and made the best of what Dean Richards made a mess of. She wanted to talk about her book, he wanted the hot gossip on her costars and to brag about how he annoys his family with bad yodeling. Say what, now? He clearly hasn’t read EITHER book she wrote about her life and should be ashamed of himself for getting on that stage with his own agenda. His job was to represent Julie and the audience fairly, and he only represented himself. I will always return for Julie Andrews, but I am supremely annoyed that I now have to know who Dean Richards is and how egomaniacal he is with women in a position of power and influence.

Despite the very cold weather, the Chicago Theater was packed with fans who came out to see a true legend whose singing, dancing and acting made us smile and feel good for decades. The format was well done, with Dean Richards as the interviewer and various video montages displayed throughout the 140 minute show. I especially enjoyed the sweet and touching pictures of Julie and husband, Blake Edwards and their family over the years, with "Moon River" playing in the background. It's understandable that she didn't talk too much about her different leading men, the "Me Too" movement and her loss of singing voice, but overall, it was a satisfying and worthwhile evening with Julie Andrews!
