Country artist Josh Thompson kicked off his career in 2009, when the songwriter released his first single, “Beer on the Table,” and co-authored a song for Jason Michael Carroll’s Top Ten album Growing Up Is Getting Old. A native of western Wisconsin, Thompson began pouring concrete alongside his father at the age of 12, and a sense of blue-collar pride soon found its way into his music. He moved to Nashville in 2005, assembled a band, and received a boost when Columbia Records signed him to the label’s country division. “Beer on the Table” became a Top 40 country single in 2009, marking Thompson's first taste of chart success, and he spent the rest of the year touring and finalizing his debut album. ~ Andrew Leahey, Rovi

Venue was boring artist was still had not come on stage at 10PM i purchased these tickets thinking I could see the headliner and be out in time to get home for work the next morning. Sometime after 10 I left because we were just listening to music in a radio fashion.
The show was great as always. Josh is fun to sing a long to. The venue is awesome or concerts. Very nice staff for the most part. We had a ton of fun!

Josh Thompson is an amazing and passionate performer. He gets into his performance and delivers something that can be enjoyed by all. This was my third time seeing Josh, and I still cannot get enough of his amazing voice.
8 Seconds Saloon is a great place to watch a show and Josh Thompson is an even better artist.
Any time Josh is close enough, we go see him. He's a really talented songwriter & fun to watch & listen to. 8Seconds Saloon is a good place to go, too! Looking forward to the next time.
Tons of great music, played for a long time. Enjoyed the mix of well known songs and new stuff too. Only downfall was the opening act was less than desired.
I am a big Josh Thompson fan and I have been waiting 2+ years for him to have a show near me that I could attend, and he did not disappoint. He put on a great show, mixing in old songs, new songs, a couple covers, and a couple songs he wrote for big country stars. However, I was disappointed by the turnout of the crowd. On the one hand it was nice because we were able to get very close to the stage. But I felt he deserved a better crowd. He still put on a great show though and I hope it doesn't discourage him from coming back to Georgia in the future.
