The entire quartet was first rate jazz talent. Seating audience on stage with the group was a plus in my view. Better directions about parking and stage door entry would have been a nice consideration. I would love to see more small scale events like this one in the future.
A great evening of music. Original songs as well as artistic interpretations of songs by a variety of musicians both jazz and rock were all so great.
We didn't realize until we arrived at the show that they had put the entire "audience" up on the stage with the quartet! That made it a surprisingly intimate cafe-style show, in the middle of a very large theater. Thought that was a nice touch. And, they had artists painting on stage as the show progressed - also interesting. The musicians were a range of average to above-average (pianist was great, bassist quite good, drummer also very good), overall decent entertainment in a very nice setting in a unique format. We very much enjoyed a few of Josh's own compositions - think he has a future as a composer!
Josh Rzepka is an excellent musician and we enjoyed the performance greatly.
