About

Jordin Sparks burst into the spotlight in 2007, when she was named the youngest contestant to win American Idol at age 17. Since then, she has become a household name, releasing catchy love songs like "No Air" and "Tattoo" that showcase her powerful vocals and upbeat attitude. What tends to stand out to the ticket buyers who attend her concerts is her engaging, sweet personality and raw vocal talent. One of the most magnetic performers in American Idol history, Sparks has wowed fans at each of her three concert tours since 2007. The release of the 2013 single "Skipping a Beat" was in preparation for her third studio album, giving fans an idea of what to expect from her 2014 release.

Sparks has been singing since she was a toddler, garnering dozens of awards and even winning a modeling contest before trying out for the sixth season of American Idol. Initially rejected by the judges at her Los Angeles audition, the ever-resilient young singer auditioned again in Seattle, not only making it on the show, but going on to win first place. After Idol, she released the single "No Air" from her self-titled debut album, earning a Teen Choice Award, an American Music Award, and, most impressively, a Grammy nomination for Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals. Her second album, 2009's Battlefield, achieved similar success, landing at No. 7 on the Billboard 200 and earning her another hit with its title track. Since her tour for that album in 2010, Jordin has explored other areas of the entertainment industry, appearing in films and photo shoots. Despite her busy schedule, Jordin remains focused on her music and plans to release her third album in 2014.

    Fun for a Cause

by LilBitLilBit on 5/20/13House of Blues Orlando - Orlando

a wide array of acts ranging from Country to Folk, to Hip Hop and Pop. Fun and Entertaining and all for a good cause. Had VIP tickets and was supposed to get early admission, but the line took 45 minutes and when we finally got in, the Q&A w/ Bubba and the Duck Dynasty guys was ending, which was disappointing.

Bubba's Bash is for a great cause, BUT having to stand on my feet for 4+ hours and still not even seeing Jordin Sparks is a bit too much to ask! Definitely could've done without the hip hop karaoke style artists. Josh Turner, Dez Deron, and Jimmy Wayne were great. I also enjoyed seeing Jase, Willie, Martin, and Bubba. Unfortunately, I can't rate Jordin Sparks because I my feet/body couldn't take anymore.

    Nice evening out.

by FloridaJoe on 5/19/13House of Blues Orlando - Orlando

I never do anything like this so it was fun and interesting to just get out and do it. Four hours is a long time to stand up so I was glad to find the couches upstairs and take a rest. The mixture of music artist was eclectic with hip-hop and country artist in successive sets. The MC and host (Judah and Bubba) were very laid back and comfortable and fun.

give the people what they want

by rgtg on 5/19/13House of Blues Orlando - Orlando

Everyone has already paid for their tickets. The charities are supported, praise God. And if everyone is there to see Willie and Jase, why not them see Willie and Jase? What benefit do you get from holding the people hostage or from making county music fans suffer through a rap concert or even worse rap fans suffer through a country music concert? an Here's how I would've done it. Bubba welcomes, opens in prayer, shares his testimony, and talks about the charities. Then out comes Willie and Jase, yay! Rap fans you may take this time to take a break or go get dinner you have one hour. Country concert begins. Next, country fans you may take a break or go get dinner, you have one hour. When you return we will have more fun with Bubba, Willie, and Jase and everyone will enjoy American idol star Jordin Sparks. The end. Awesome! Unfortunately, my husband and I both had to work in the morning, left at 11 and didn't get to hear from Willie or Jase at all :( On the up side we still had a good time all in all. Thanks Bubba.

    What an experience!

Bubbas Bash was amazing! I went with a friend...going to see Jordin Sparks! I wasn't expecting it to be anything like it was. It turned out to be unbelievable (in a great way)! I enjoyed each and every act. Went home & bought everyone's music. Their stories touched me in such a different way! I am definitely hoping this happens again, I wouldn't miss it!! And being able to meet some of the people afterwards, topped it off. Dez was such a sweet guy! he acted just like one of us! Tears were shed, laughs were shared music was bumpin, the word was spread & memories were made! Couldn't of had a better night! Thanks for hosting this Bubba. You're amazing.
