Johnny Flynn Tickets

Johnny Flynn never disappoints and the acoustics at Brighton Music Hall are fantastic.

The openers, The Melodic, were fantastic! Followed by an incredible performance by Johnny Flynn. Wow! Amazing guitar, hauntingly beautiful vocals, and good lord what amazing lyrics! I was blown away. Following the concert, Johnny stayed and met with every last one of the fans who wanted a picture and to chat. He is a wonderfully kind, smart, and engaging, genuine person.

Terrific show, opening act was fun, Johnny was funny AND sounded terrific.

Johnny Flynn is one of my favorite artists, and I'm so excited he came to play in San Francisco. I've seen him live once before, but it was at a festival so it was a much bigger setting. The Rickshaw Stop was the perfect venue - small enough that we were hardly 8 feet from where he was singing. He is charismatic and charming, and altogether a fantastic musician. Nothing compares to seeing him live, he has the capability to fill the entire room using just his rich voice and guitar. I'm already in love with The Melodic (the opening act) whom I'd never heard before. They brought a sort of quirky folk sound to the stage with the use of a six string ukulele and mouth accordions.

The Melodics played a fantastic opening set for Johnny Flynn at Brighton Music Hall last Friday night. I liked them so much I bought their debut album. And then Johnny came on and had us singing and harmonizing with him. I've seen him 3 times and he's never done an encore, but he did two that night! I was in heaven!

What a fantastic show. Melodic was the perfect opener for Johnny Flynn. I'm counting down the days until he comes back. The Sussex Wit wasn't there which I didn't mind, it allowed for a really intimate show and some unexpected moments you can only get with a solo artist. Plus next time I see the whole band I'll get a totally new experience. Johnny Flynn, keep making beautiful music.

Amazing show, no other way to describe it. It started with the opening act, which was performed by an awesome band called "The melodic". They were so good, and the energy was great. Then came Johnny and his band, and from the first to the last song they nailed it. You know a show is good when you are just as happy to hear a song you don't know as you are when it comes one that you do. That was definatedly the case. The songs that I knew were even better live than the recorded versions - and the recorded versions are already good - and those I did not know ...- wow, can't wait for the next album that is coming soon And the best part, everything was so unpretensious. The band, him, the opening act, it was all so good. This night was all about great music, and the result was an amazing show.

Johnny was great. After listening to his records for years I was very excited for this concert. He lived up to my expectations and gave a great set including old and new songs. Don't miss this show!
