    Above average performance.

    by B. C. on 2/14/20Ludlow Garage Cincinnati - Cincinnati

John was very entertaining. But it seemed like the stories were just as long as the musical parts of the program. I know stories fill in the gaps and tell a story, but the performer is not there as a "Stand Up Comic". We came to hear "music".

    Very disappointing show!

by pizzapizza. on 2/13/20Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino Bears Den - Niagara Falls

Was thinking it was going to be a loving spoonful show instead it was John Sebastan with two guitars and a lot of talk. I did not care to hear about how long it took to get his son to sleep or how people called him on the phone to do shows I was looking for some entertaining music This was not to be had at this show would not recommend!

    Great Time With John

by Smittys on 2/11/20Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino Bears Den - Niagara Falls

We had watched some YouTube videos of John Sebastian and we were aware of his great storytelling skills. And Saturday night in Niagara Falls with him we were not disappointed. He accompanied his songs with his great stories and had us in the palm of his hand. We were greatly uplifted by his performance.

    Great evening with John Sebastian

by LindaandBill on 2/10/20Ludlow Garage Cincinnati - Cincinnati

This was a very fun evening. Food and drink at The Ludlow Garage were also fine. The only downside was parking in the Ludlow Merchants parking lot. BEWARE. The kiosk often malfunctions, charges more than it should, and does not give change. Do NOT insert a large bill.

    Great time at Ludlow Garage

by Nick C on 2/10/20Ludlow Garage Cincinnati - Cincinnati

John is a terrific storyteller and great musician. Can he sing as well as he used to? Absolutely not. But having seen him 5 times dating back to 1970, I'd say this was my most enjoyable experience. The stories that he told about his early career and the impetus for his song writing made it great. Highly recommend that fans see him in an intimate setting like Ludlow Garage.

    Welcome back John!

by Doc on 2/9/20Ludlow Garage Cincinnati - Cincinnati

John Sebastian played to a packed house at the Ludlow Garage on 2/6/20. He brought 2 guitars and a harmonica and played unaccompanied both Lovin Spoonful and solo material for a 90 minute set. He had lots of interesting stories between songs that kept the audience engaged. I'm not sure if he had laryngitis or maybe his voice permanently sounds that way now but it sounded like "Nick Nolte sings John Sebastian." Disappointing!!

Fun show with one of our alltime favorites

by Born2ron on 2/9/20Ludlow Garage Cincinnati - Cincinnati

We had a great time at the John Sebastian show at the Ludlow Garage. I must admit that I was a bit taken aback when he walked on stage. I'm afraid that John, like all of us, got old while I wasn't watching. His voice isn't as sweet as it was during the Lovin Spoonful days but the songs were great and he told stories from the early days that kept us entertained all night. Understand, this isn't a "Greatest Hits" show but just a wonderful evening with an old friend.

    John Sebastian

by Jerry on 10/25/19Bethel Woods Center for the Arts - Bethel

John is just as good as he was in the 60s and 70s just a little older. What a show he put on. He just didnt play his music but told us about it and how it came about. He gave us a synopsis of his life along the way. Unforgetable!
