It started with john Payne singing a few Asia songs and built on the idea of a lot of stars singing just 2 songs a piece. Then everyone in brought out to sing there biggest hits. The finally was great everyone joining to sing a Great Jouney song called Don't Stop Believing!
the band was amazing, the songs were awesome and most of the singers were spot on, wish they played more songs!
It was good to see many of the old singers all at once without being at a county fair. And thank goodness they left Tommy Shaw out of this one. People behind me said they could do without the interviews in between sets, and I agree. I also read years ago that Robin Zander hates to sing "The Flame", so sad that he had to to make a few bucks...Mickey T. is the only one who still has his original voice. And it all would have sounded A LOT better with ALL male backup singers. Overall, it was good, and everyone had a good time:)
I took a chance on going to the Rock Pack concert and was so glad I did. The hits rolled all night and it was very enjoyable.
This was a great show with so much talent and hit song after hit song. The surprise was how good everyone sounded. The backups and the musicians were outstanding.
I'd give it 5 stars but the talking between sets kind of diminished the mood at times
With interviews of each singer before the performance, this show was great.
Didn't like the 'David Letterman' format. Would have liked it better if each musician stepped up to the mike and told the audience what they told John Payne.
Highly recommend going to see this. The excitement in the band was amazing and the voices were great. Can't wait to go again and this time bring friends'
Great music. The lead singer from 'Asia' was professional and fun - he's a Brit who did a skit interviewing the lead singer from each group before they sang so the audience could learn about some little known history. That was cool. 'Starship' lead singer was awesome. 'Tubes' lead singer rocked the house! 'Kansas' lead singer was great but dressed in a long dress jacket that looked way too old fashioned. 'Toto' lead singer could not sing for crap, was acting like a fool, and dressed in a sparkling jacket reminiscent of a rock-n-roll Liberace. He needs to up his game or be replaced. ' ' lead singer sang really rocked, but dressed in tights with a long t-shirt and jacket and looked foolish. C'mon guys, the 80s had better clothing style than what you were wearing!! The two women back-up singers were smoking hot and had awesome voices and dressed to kill. The female violinist for 'Kansas' was a Goddess! I want to marry her - wow! Overall good show, but it needs refinement. You can be a rocker and put on an organized, professional show. Winging it will not fill in the stadiums.
