Loved this show! John had a dobro player with him. No band because they didn’t need one. They sounded great. We also loved his opening act. His name was Jordon Rowe. A great young performer. Would love to see them both again !!!
This was the best concert I've been to in a very long time. John Anderson is a great performer and wonderful musician. I did wish the venu had a better incline so you could see better over the rows ahead of you however.
John voice is excellent!! He is humble and true supporter of our great country!!
The concert was good, I enjoyed both John Anderson and The Kentucky Head Hunters, however, the seating was AWFUL. The metal chairs we had to sit on were very small with very little space between seats. If you had a large person sitting next to you their body was going to be on you and there wasn't a thing you could do about it. The chairs were welded together and could not be moved. This will definitely keep me from coming to future concerts.
IT WAS A AWESOME TIME. Our tickets was upgraded to better seats because of a seating issue. Thank you to the event manager
The '2023 John Anderson' sounds like the '1985 John Anderson'. His voice, his songs and his guitar playing are spot-on. His 'acoustic-style' show was simplistic. Each song invited you to sing along and be a part of the show. No band, just John and his accompanist of 40 years. It was worth the price of the ticket to hear him sing "Swingin"in person!
The venue was sub par. They held it at the state fairgrounds. I assumed it was going to be a permanent stage area but instead was inside a building used for other purposes and they had a portable stage set up. The roof/ceiling was metal and pitched so the sound was bouncing all over the place and echoing and tinny. I didn’t realize it was going to be an acoustic show. They should make that clear. Would have been much better with a band.
Amazing concert by both John Anderson and Kentucky Headhunters, highly recommend this facility for future concerts
John Anderson was great!! Had trouble hearing/understanding the lyrics a bit. Kentucky Head Hunters were extremely loud. Otherwise, great time!
