venue was very nice but food/beverages pricey!! but the stars of the show were absolutely amazing!! the sound quality was superb and you couldnt ask for anymore!! i recommend that if your a country music fan and dont know who these guys are they are a must see!! they guys are really COUNTRY MUSIC!!
Joey & Rory, their band, and backup singer (daughter Heidi) put on a fun and well presented set of Christmas songs off their new CD and mixed in a few of their older hits too. Daughter Heidi even sang a beautifully lush solo tune off her own CD. My only complaint was with the venue: Showcase Live in Foxboro MA is barely adequate as a venue for small concerts like this. The food is bland and overpriced; the VIP booth seating is cramped for four adults, the table was tilted and wobbly, and the view was partially obstructed even by the general admission floor seating - these booths should have been built elevated to preserve the view. Sound system was flaky too; on several occasions there was clearly audible static in the output that appeared to irritate Rory. It sure bugged me. Overall, I loved Joey & Rory but I wouldn't go back to Foxoboro to see them again.
Joey and Rory were outstanding and their band was very good. They were very friendly and hung around with the crowd afterward. The venue was a little sketchy but the crowd was obviously there for the music and didn't care about the location.
Joey and Rory are the cutest couple and sound great together. They put on a wonderful concert with a lot of humor and love. Their harmony together is perfect and really know how to keep the audience entertained. I would recommend them to anyone who wants to see a down home country Christmas.
The show was Great, it was so nice to be in a small intimate setting. Joey and Rory told their story, and laughed & joked with the crowd. We could actually see them up close, instead of them looking like ants. The sound was a little off, with some feedback & the lighting could've used some work, but that had no effect on Joey & Rory! They put on a Great Show, and played alot of their new songs from album # 2.
