    Love Jim Lauderdale

    by Mel on 7/3/23

Jim Lauderdale put on a great show at the Riverside Revival venue. We had not seen Jim for a number of years and he did not disappoint. His show included a nice variety of music, well performed. The venue was great. The seating around tables was casual and comfortable. It was fun meeting other fans at the same table. We also enjoyed Jim's introduction to Lillie Mae and her very talented band. They made a great combination.

    GameChanger

    by JohnnyB on 7/3/23

Jim Lauderdale & band were “Hittin’ the note” all night at Riverside Revival Friday night. Great band with two lead guitars & steel plus Lillie Mae who’s a really good singer. One of his best bands. Jim L’s New songs were top notch & mixed with some of his oldies made for a enjoyable set. 👍👍👍👍😎

    Lauderdale-Consummate Pro

by Hoff1 on 8/17/15Ponte Vedra Concert Hall - Ponte Vedra Beach

Rocked out, honkey tonked, and solo acoustic folked. Personality, talent and a spot on band. Venue was good but turn out was WEAK. Didn't stop Jimmy tho. He was gracious to us who showed up. The same performance in a little dive honkey tonk jook joint with dancing and a little rowdiness and it could have been EPIC! GO see him anywhere.

Jim Lauderdale is an American Treasure

by Anonymous on 4/14/15Taft Theatre - Cincinnati

Jim Lauderdale is a prolific song writer as many of you may know; he has written hit after hit for other artists. What is undeniable to me now is that Jim Lauderdale is an outstanding preforming artist. I've seen many concerts, but this is my number 1 now. He played for a solid 2 1/2 hours and that time included four sets (two with a full band and two acoustic). He spent time interacting with the audience and even took requests. Lauderdale has always been a hero of mine and now he is even more so after seeing this great concert. I would say he is one of the most under appreciated artists alive today. If you like real country music then you will love Jim Lauderdale in concert; don't think about it, just go and buy your tickets right now!!!!

Please see the King of Broken Hearts

by Anonymous on 12/13/12The GRAMMY Museum - Los Angeles

We really enjoyed this docuementay about Jim Lauderdale and the long and at many disappointing times that he navigated to make a career in the music industry. This film really describes all of the difficult obstacles that can stand in the way of even one of the most talented and annointed musician- songwriters that there is. This young filmaker really conveys a knowledge and wisdom of how the music industry operates way beyond the mere 22 years that he's been alive. A MUST see movie for not only Jim Lauderdale and Americana music fans but for all of those who can appreciate the story of a very talented man who just refused to give up or become embittered over his numerous setbacks while seeing many far less talented musicians being embraced by the multitudes. What a treasure he is.
