Warren Haynes AWESOME as Always... Please come back next year.
Best show musically speaking I've ever been to! Orchestra took things to a whole new level. Warren Haynes was fantastic. The whole thing was simply beautiful!! Definitely looking forward to going again if he comes back around.
Great show! Would have been better if he was playing Jerry's wolf guitar and maybe a couple more tunes!
I really think that Warren did a great job with this. The music was fantastic and he really proved that he can really sing all of the Jerry Garcia slow and melodic Dead tunes. It was disappointing that the show was not well attended but this may be because it was on a Sunday in the middle of vacations season and Dead and Co had just finished their summer tour. Always like Warren doing his Allman, Government Mule or his Dead covers. I hope he brings the show back to Jersey but maybe to one of the smaller theaters NJPAC or similar rather than at the PNC Arts Center. I'd pay more for a smaller venue indoors to see this show.
Amazing night! Great Orchestra combined with Jerry Garcia's music and Warren Haynes, makes for an awesome concert! Grateful Dead revisited.
Great show, symphony was fantastic. The volume was too low, warrens mike was garbled. It was a real treat for those that miss jerry!
Good show, played some of Jerry's more obscure ballads, but the orchestra and other musicians were terrific! Started at 7:15 and ended at 9:45 with a ten minute break at 8:15. Lively crowd although disappointingly small. Not sure why the turnout was so low but you missed a good show if you stayed home!
This was a great show. Not sure why there were so many open seats. The sound was awesome, the weather was great and I wished the music never stopped!
As much as we love Jerry Garcia as much as we like the Allman Brothers... Nice try it was very good in the beginning but it faded very quickly as did the crowd.. I have enjoyed other concerts at this venue where you just didn't want to leave... This wasn't one of those concert... Sorry Not this time...
We are not "dyed-in-the-wool" Jerry Garcia or Warren Haynes fans, but we warmed up to the music quite a bit. We found the first couple of numbers not much to our liking, but it improved as the evening went along. The drummer was amazing, the conductor, who played the smallest saxophone we've ever seen, was awesome too.
