This show was mostly straight-up chamber-pop, emphasizing Jeremy's more recent trend toward upbeat (but still quirky!) songs. Would be better in a venue that isn't a concrete echo chamber...

Unlike other performers you can hear the lyrics when you see him live so I would recommend this show even to friends who didn't know his music. He made it a lot of fun by interacting with the crowd. Soooooo worth it at the cheap price (under $15).

We had seen Jeremy last year at the State Fair with some other great local bands like Desa and the Semisonics. I knew that we would love his performance and found it fun to have him talk about his music but I was very pleasantly surprised with the two other bands. We loved them both!! and bought both CDs. The two leads were really fun to listen to when describing their music and the inspiration behind the various songs. I love the sessions idea - the up close and personal was great! and the environment made it quite comfortable.
