About

Born and bred on Chicago's South Side, R&B singer Jeremih taught himself how to play several instruments and didn't consider himself a vocalist until a warmly received performance at a talent show. At Chicago's Columbia College, he struck up a partnership with producer Mick Schultz, and the two closely collaborated on the material that would become Jeremih's debut album, released in June 2009 on Def Jam. "Birthday Sex," its first single, debuted on Billboard's R&B/Hip Hop Singles chart that March; by mid-May, it was already in the Top Ten, and it became the year's breakout bedroom ballad à la J. Holiday's "Bed." Jeremih, his self-titled album, produced entirely by Schultz, was released in late June 2009. At that point, "Birthday Sex" had crossed over to the Top Ten of the Billboard Hot 100. A year later, Jeremih issued his follow-up, All About You. Two of its songs, "Down on Me" and "I Like," reached the Top 30 of the R&B Hip Hop Singles chart. ~ Andy Kellman, Rovi

    Terrible.

by Gina Ciampa on 7/18/22Big Night Live - Boston

Probably the worst concert I’ve ever been too. Dj spin king performed longer. Jeremih didn’t come on stage until about 12:35am and stayed on for maybe 20 minutes.

    Few songs

    by J. C. on 7/17/22

He sounds the same in real life and seemed very nice. He only sang 3 or 4 songs but he did a good job. I only paid $20 for the ticket so I can’t complain but he’s a good artist and I wish he sang more songs! I enjoyed my time but wouldn’t go again :)

    The show was pretty good

by cmariaraleigh on 9/6/18Center Stage Theater - Atlanta

I'm not sure what took the show so long to start, but we stood outside for two hours and we were still outside well after the start time. Danileigh sang well, but because we were outside so long, I had to use the bathroom and get something to drink as soon as we found our seat so I only heard her from the lobby. Teyana's performance was really good, even though I hate that she has her daughter at her shows with no earphones and she's right by the speakers. Once Teyana performance was over, we waiting over an hour for Jeremih's team to get set-up with the speakers, mic checks, etc and I was getting really frustrated. Jeremih sang well although he isn't an enthusiast performer. Sounds good, moves the stage, but that's pretty much it. I liked that he surprised us with Wale and Jacquese. I enjoyed the concert pretty good. The venue itself didn't have any food or snacks, and the security guards made everyone leave their umbrellas in the lobby (and it was pouring that day so everyone had an umbrella). Well, of course after the concert was over with (after midnight) everyone's umbrella was dumped on the ground near the exit doors and someone stole mine. UGH.

    Jeremih Flop

by 404ATL on 8/10/18Center Stage Theater - Atlanta

Venue is fine - lots of standing room and seating for a GA venue. Teyana Taylor was great and most people were there to see her. However, I was seriously disappointed with Jeremih. He doesn’t give much of a performance, his dancers were meh, and his DJ did most of the work. He gave a 40 minute performance where the last two songs were plugs for his new single with Ty$. Worst performance I’ve been to all year.
