Jason Miles Presents "Celebrating the Music of We7

by YellowFlame on 4/5/17Berks Jazz Fest - Reading

A perfectly intimate venue, great acoustics, lighting, seats. The 8 musicians on stage were all masters of their crafts; united, they were incomparable!

This group did not disappoint one bit! Each and every one of these musicians were in a league of their own, and came together for an unforgettable evening!

Very 'interesting' music, quote Back to the Future

by Saxmanhacker on 4/4/17Berks Jazz Fest - Reading

I know Weather Report is a bit out there, but not totally improv. Seemed like excellent musicians without a clear cut mission. Bird Land, the band's halmark song (in my opinion) seemed offered up in an obligatory fashion acquiessing to those who like a discernable melody. Sad really, because with the talent on stage (each awesome in their own right BTW) - the bass player would have killed the launch of that number, but rather the melody emerging from a fog of improvisation disappointing.
