Although the title was a little misleading.....this was a powerful live play with a strong message & a little bit of humor too!! Well written & I will be looking for other projects written by Je'Caryous Johnson!! The very handsome & sexy Leon ❤️, my friend Jackie & me (in the grey & black) sweater in picture below!!

    Happy to Be There

by Staa on 12/17/15San Diego Civic Theatre - San Diego

The play itself was pretty lightweight due to the plot. But it was good to see Leon and the other "stars". Also, fun to be in the house with all those other fun people.

Je'Caryous Johnson Play Is Solid Gold

by SophisticatedLadyDoc on 11/28/15The Wiltern - Los Angeles

Je'Caryous Johnson's Play was GREAT with lots of laugh out loud moments. We thoroughly enjoyed the play from beginning to end even in spite of the extremely poor seating conditions at the Wiltern Theater. I hope when he does his next play in February that it will be at a different venue because Wiltern has terrible seating for viewing the stage. The acting was outstanding as well as the singing. The play has some very thought provoking "ah ha" moments with some important messages for both genders.

    LOVED IT

by OhGorgeous1 on 11/27/15Terrace Theater - Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center - Long Beach

Je'Caryous Johnson's Play "Things Your Man Won't Do" was the Best Play that I have ever seen. I attend approximately 10-20 live events per year and frequent about 2 Plays per year. This is definitely an ALL STAR Cast! The Singing by,Tony Grant, was powerful and amazing! The perfect blend of comedy, drama/excitement, current events, and progressive thinking. Leon (Sexual Chocolate), Allen Payne, Essence Adkins, and Terri Vaughn did an outstanding job. Kudos!

Great true to life story line.

by Myong on 11/26/15Terrace Theater - Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center - Long Beach

Great story line. I enjoyed the cast how they portrayed there characters in such a believable manner. I treated myself to this play. I listened to the radio ads and kept debating if I should go by myself let me tell you I'm glad I did. Thumbs up great play.

by Cheeeeee on 11/26/15Terrace Theater - Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center - Long Beach

Great play, great storyline, great acting. I enjoyed the seriousness of the content with a twist of comedy. The stage was made for Terry Vaughn, amongst others!

    JE'CARYOUS JOHNSON'S THINGS YOUR MAN WON'T DO

by LYNN60 on 11/26/15The Wiltern - Los Angeles

I FOUND THE PLAY DISJOINTED, FULL OF CLICHES AND DID NOT LIVE UP TO THE TITLE. The advertised actors were not in the play, the singing was ill timed for some scenes and there was no ending. If there is A SEQUEL, PLEASE TIGHTEN YOUR SCRIPT.

    Things Your Man Won't Do

by SGB7 on 11/25/15The Wiltern - Los Angeles

The play was entertaining. Great play with only 5 actors. Did not care for the story line ending.

by BRANDIIALIZE on 11/25/15The Wiltern - Los Angeles

As usual Je'Caryous Johnson's play was amazing. I have been following Je'Caryous ' plays his whole career. They just keep getting better and better and better. I love me some Leon, Tony Grant and Allen Payne. So that was the nuts and cherries on top of a very good sundae!! Wish I could have seen it again!!
