Jazz Geggie Series Tickets

Instead of a moment of jazz creativity I was treated to an evening of non-jazz blandness. The melancholy songs of pleasant but easily forgotten female folksy singer. The decision to play all of this artists folk like songs and not engage the rest of the ensemble was total waste of talent and disrespectful.. The piano player was trying to have moments within these dirges and from time to time and would draw the stink-eye from aforementioned singer. The poor drummer was stuck tapping gently on the edges of the snares and symbols. Unfortunately things did not improve after the break and so we bolted. No jazz was played that night at the NAC fourth stage however it was a pleasant funeral.
