Serious ASU could upgrade the space and serve wine. I love the Kerr family story but know they wouldn't mind if the poles were removed. The space is dangerous with the stairs inside too. And why would you have a jazz concert without wine? Alice Tatum, Diana Lee, Delphine Cortez and Sherry Robertson were amazing.
The Jazz Divas concert was amazing. The star, in my opinion, of the ladies was the violinist. She was OUTSTANDING!! But they were all so good. The lady on flute was all in the audience, the keyboard was good, but her personality was OUTSTANDING!! Sorry to keep using outstanding, especially in all caps, but that's the word for this concert.
This event was outstanding, spectacular ladies the evening was bedazzling .
WOW, what a phenomenal show! These ladies are super talented and they shared their talents with us. I was not familiar with Nnennea Freelon prior to the show; however, I am now. Last year it was Maysa, this year Nnennea, I am already looking forward to seeing Jazz Divas in 2014. Thanks again Mr. Curtis King for bringing the best to Dallas, another superb performance from TBAAL!
