Kevin Smith is by far the funniest, interesting and most intelligent speaker I've ever seen. He keeps you entertained to the point were when I looked down to my watch and the show was ending I couldn't believe that 3 hours had passed. His insights into the insane way that Hollywood is run will have you in stitches. A must see for any Kevin Smith fan, and something any real fan of comedy should see.
An epic event. Kevin Smith and Mosier's SMODCAST followed by Jayson Mewes and Kevin Smith in Jay and Silent Bob get old. Would have liked a meet and greet or an autograph opportunity, but other than that it was funny and epic. Hard Rock Live just has the worst seating for a show like this. It's designed for bands and a dance floor. The chairs they use are uncomfortable and such a slight slope that if you're behind anybody you can't see.
I enjoyed watching Jay and Silent Bob get old. Kevin Smith is very funny and Scott Mosier balanced him very well. Jason Mewes can be funny, but he seemed to ramble for most of the show. During one long segment of the second half, he told a seemingly unending story that was one long ramble until Kevin Smith finally decided he'd talked long enough and broke in with some interesting stories of his own. The 'Game' at the end could have gone either way, but it wasn't very funny on our night.
Great time! Started on time, lasted what it should, and was one hell of a time. If you are even somewhat of a Kevin Smith fan you will get a lot of laughs.
As a fan of the movies, comics, and Smodcast I had a pretty good idea what to expect when you get Kevin Smith, Jason Mewes, and Scott Mosier together in front of an audience. The show lived up to and surpassed all of my expectations. The openness these guys speak with pulls you into every moment they are trying to convey, making every humorous moment monumentally hilarious. I will be going back should they be in my area again.
First they did Smodcast with Kevin Smith and Scott Moiser, which was hilarious. After a 15 minute " intermission" they did Jay and silent bob get old, with Kevin and Jason Mewes. The show was very entertaining and my wife and I were never bored. The show started about 8:15 and ended about 11:15.
Those dudes just talked about random stuff they had in their minds and made me laugh so hard! I love Kevin Smith! He - even if he is a little bit perverded - is an outraging filmmaker and Dogma is the best christian film on earth! Horns up!
If you know these 2, then you know what you were in for....kevin smith, and jason mewes have not changed...but have only gotten better. Could not stop laughing.
What a great night, these guys are unbelievable. I'd see them again over and over.
I started laughing the moment Kevin and Scott got on stage and didn't stop for almost three hours when Kevin and Jay finished. They are comfortable and engaging the whole time. I don't miss a single Podcast online but if you have a chance to see them live then do it. It is a whole new experience. Every seat in the house was a good seat, Good job to the Hardrock Live in Orlando! (-) Hard Rock mixes their drinks a little lighter than I normally like.
