About

Fast-talking, foul mouthed Jay and his "hetero life partner" Silent Bob will tour Australia this April with their highly praised live comedy show, Jay & Silent Bob Get Old.
Following the release of the cult-classic film Clerks in 1994, long time friends Jason "Jay" Mewes and Kevin "Silent Bob" Smith quickly became much loved stoner icons, with their mischievous characters going on to star in Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Dogma, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back and Clerks 2, all of which were written and directed by Smith.
The duo have toured Jay & Silent Bob Get Old through the US, recording each evening and then releasing the audio as a free podcast, resulting in the show being ranked the #1 podcast on iTunes Comedy. The shows are a sometimes touching, always hilarious, and a very honest insight into what happens when two people grow up together in the Hollywood limelight.
Now Australian fans will have the opportunity to be a part of the popular podcast series and see their slacker heroes on stage doing what they love, telling stories and poking fun at each other. Jay and Silent Bob are getting old, come watch it as it happens!

    A great night of laughs

by blackroseMD1 on 12/7/19Balboa Theatre - San Diego

The show started a little late (about 15 minutes), but other than that, it was a great night. The movie was even better the second time around, and listening to Kevin Smith and Jay Mewes play off each other live was both heartwarming and hilarious. Kevin Smith is a fantastic storyteller, both on screen and live. I'd highly recommend catching a Reboot Roadshow screening to anyone who is a fan of his View Askewniverse.

Awesome movie and entertainment would go against and again.

by WeLoveThisMonkey on 12/7/19Balboa Theatre - San Diego

Kevin Smith and jason Mewes put a ton of love into this project this was not just a cash grab and crummy 2nd movie. This had a lot of original actors and was well directed and acted. Thank you for amazing night

Jay & Silent Bob were amazing!

by TheMarxSister on 4/25/18Neptune Theatre - Seattle

While you can listen to their podcast for free it was definitely worth seeing them live because there were several things you would never catch just hearing them. Seeing Jason not only tell a sex story but to watch him reenact the entire thing was hilarious. They were very good with the audience and it was an experience I will never forget and I would go again.

    Whole lot of laughter

by Elvauri on 4/24/18Neptune Theatre - Seattle

I haven't laughed that much or that hard in years. Kevin is hilarious per usual and Jason was a much loved added flavor to the twist. Their stories are wonderful. It felt like I was sitting in a room with my good friend and sharing stories.

    Two of the best

    by GWWW469 on 4/23/18Neptune Theatre - Seattle

This show was off the chain. Seeing these two live was one of the most awesomest things that I have seen. They truely love each other and they work great together. Glad that I got to see them and would love to see them again.

    Truly great!

by NewToSeattle on 4/23/18Neptune Theatre - Seattle

You need to see these guys, great time. I could not control my laughter, I even went to the second show and thought the guys would be a bit tired or the show would be shorter, but they truly delivered. Best time I’ve had being out here so far, hands down.

    37 More Years!!!

by NoahNoor on 4/23/18Neptune Theatre - Seattle

The Neptune is a great venue for this type of show--big enough to let in a good number of Kevin Smith's legions of fans, but small enough to still feel intimate--and when it comes to Kevin Smith, intimacy is basically the #1 requirement. Overall, it was a great show in a cute theater, within walking distance from tons of great food spots. 10/10 would go again!

It was pretty hot in the venue. But could see the stage perfect from up top. The show was AMAZING! So funny.
