Small theater with very innovative play. The actors were wonderful. It was amazing that only 4 people could pull off so many characters. I loved it!!!!!
We thought the play was very well done The players were all very talented and well prepared. We thought the ending was quite emotional and touching. A good experience.
Available Light Theatre and playwright Daniel Elihu Kramer have collaborated once again to present a modern adaptation of Charlotte Bronte's Jane Eyre. Kramer weaves Bronte's prose of romance and mystery with modern day voices taken from interviews with reader's of this classic novel. You end up with a production that makes you think, surprises you and makes you laugh. Bronte was ahead of her time with her heroine and Kramer reminds us of it. The play has it all, romance, twists, action and lots of humor. And the humor comes from both Charlotte Bronte and Mr. Kramer. All of this is delivered by the talents of just four cast members who take on multiple roles. They seamlessly move from the modern day voices to those of Bronte's characters on a set and with lighting that makes it all work. Hurry and get your seats, there are only 10 shows left.
