James Blunt (aka James Hillier Blount) lived all over Europe as a child with a father in the British Army Air Corps, taking piano and violin sessions and later learning guitar and writing songs as a teenager. After graduating from the University of Bristol, Blunt served six years in the British Army and was stationed in Canada, Kosovo and Switzerland, achieving the rank of captain before he left the army in 2002. The next year, he signed to Custard Records and starting recording his first album in Los Angeles. Back to Bedlam came out in 2004, with five singles including “High,” “Wiseman,” and the smashes “You’re Beautiful” and “Goodbye My Lover,” and received five Grammy nominations. With his endearing voice, poignant and sincere lyrics, and catchy pop-rock sound, Blunt’s debut has sold over 11 million copies. His second album, 2007’s All the Lost Souls, produced the hit “1973,” and 2010’s Some Kind of Trouble featured “Stay the Night,” “So Far Gone,” and “If Time Is All I Have.” The folky lead single “Bonfire Heart” premiered in October 2013, a few weeks ahead of the release of his fourth and latest album, Moon Landing. With a world concert tour planned for 2014, this charming crooner is set to dazzle ticket holders across the globe.
Saw James open for Ed Sheeran in Nashville last weekend. I was so impressed and entertained. Loved his new music! I bought the entire album from ITunes. I also enjoyed when he sang "You're Beautiful" because the entire crowd sang along.

He did a really good show, sang well, could understand him and he was entertaining for one man, good sense of humor and accent was so cute. Normally don't like English accents but his was cute.

My second time seeing him in about 6months. Drove 4 hrs from las vegas and worth every minute and penny. Upgraded my seats to front row while walking in and James blunt just rocked the house. I can't wait to see him again. He plays and plays and talks very little which is nice. No huge big show. It's him and his band that's it and he gives you 200%.

I loved James Blunt before and I love him even more now! Amazing energy. Awesome performance. Perfect vocals. Great band. The Belasco Theater was a beautiful venue for an unforgettable night.
me and my daughter went, for her first concert and both her and i had a blast! James was amazing, i would definitly love to go again!!! i would recommend this concert to anyone who's a fan!!

As always, James was amazing!! Everytime I have seen him, he has put on an amazing show! "Oh Honey" the opening band was great as well, I look forward to hearing more from them!
