Indiana State Fair Band Day Tickets

This was an opportunity to see the best high school bands in the state.

There is one thing I would change. ANYTIME we left the grandstand, our tickets have to be scanned in and out. That meant I had to dig out my ticket every time I wanted to come in and out. My daughter was outside the grandstand, so I was getting scanned several times.

Bands have stopped coming to the State Fair because of the judging. You would think by now they would have opened their eyes and realize what they have done to band day. The stands used to be full. Not anymore, the judges have ruined what was a great day for the bands and the fans. I won't mention the name of the band. But there is one band with a very good routine because it is entertaining. But they walk away with nothing each year. I don't believe the judging is fair. When the whole crowd responds with a standing ovation, that is entertainment. It is good to see all the bands play with all the different routines. My seats were ok I didn't get to see the routine very good because I am handicapped, but it was ok. Great listening to all the bands. Thank you Ticket Master for making it easy to get tickets.

I will not go back to that venue. The bands were great but they were so close to the wall by the stands you couldn't see a thing. I couldn't believe I paid money for a seat to NOT see my daughter perform. The announcer was difficult to understand - even the bands couldn't hear the awards.
