    Great music from a friendly quintet

    I enjoyed the Imani Winds a lot. The music was very good. It starts with more modern-style music and ends with more melodic songs, so you get a variety of styles. Different members introduce each song, and you get to know a bit about each of the members as a person, so they aren't just a group of impersonal players. I went to the Q&A beforehand, which I also enjoyed as it gave more insight into their music and the life of a musician.

    I love Imani Winds, the musicians are incredible both with pushing the envelop of classical music and all the new innovations. Have to admit the bassoon player is my favorite, she really rocks, expressive and incredible tone. what an amazing event!!! And because Quattro was preceding the Imani Winds, they are amazing, it was like two concerts.
