by Anonymous on 4/27/16Ralph Engelstad Arena - Grand Forks

The four teams in the medal round - USA, Canada, Sweden and Finland - were led by the best young hockey players in the world. Very exciting to see the future talent of the NHL!

    Great Hockey!!!!

by Emom5 on 4/27/16Ralph Engelstad Arena - Grand Forks

I wasn't sure what to expect when I bought these tickets. The event far exceeded my expectations! The arena should have been full as this was hockey at it's best. Speed, talent, skill, fun, amazing.... the games were enjoyable for all ages. To have teams from around the world competing in Grand Forks is fantastic. The only downside was that there were many empty seats! For this level of hockey the arena should have been packed. Many of my hockey friends said they never really heard much about it before hand. I am so glad we went and we will definitely go to the same/similar hockey tournaments. It was amazing after the games when the winning teams flag was hung and all players sang the song of their country. Also- the sportsmanship of most players was exceptional and a good witness to my son. It was also great that at the end of the games, players handed up sticks to youth who were cheering them on. We didn't expect this. Our view of the majority of each game was also excellent.

Great place to watch a hockey game even if the fighting Sioux are not the ones playing some of the attendance at IIHF games is better than the big 10 tourney.
