Getting the tickets was easy. However, we had to have a person find them on my iPhone when we got to the gate.

Tickets were easy to purchase and were easy to transfer over to our kid's phones so they could enter the event on their own.

    Disappointed

by Notafan on 11/29/21NIU Huskie Stadium - Dekalb

The lack of concession stands available was very disappointing. It was very cold and the line at the 1 stand available was ridiculous long. Access to a hot beverage would have been much appreciated.

Perfect venue to have finals for upper classes since most school were from up north. Just with parking lot was a little closer .

    Great game day experience

by Tony24omaha on 11/28/17NIU Huskie Stadium - Dekalb

The IHSA State football championship games had it all this year- great competition, great venue and great fans. The OT 7A game was one of the best I had ever seen! All the kids, coaching staff and parents should be proud!

Seemed far away from the field. Cheerleaders were unseen by the fans. They could only see the first row of fans. I understand it's a football game but all aspects of the game should be given a chance to shine. Distance created a disconnect in the spirit of the game. Exiting the parking was not easy. No signs to direct to exits.

Crete Monee vs Mantini State Football Game

by Girlyfan1971 on 12/1/15NIU Huskie Stadium - Dekalb

Great game! Both teams put in work. There was one kid, Xavier Ledet #22 Crete Monee that came out of no where in the 4th. He was making impossible plays with ease. They under played him the first three quarters but I tell you what, from one diehard football girl to any diehard football fan this kid is going places. To top it off I found out X-man (yes I gave him a nickname) is only a sophomore. Hell yes, two more years of this kid. I'm sold. He's definitely on my radar. Other notables 2015 MY top picks: Aaron McCaskill, Hillcrest (the Octopus) this kid is all over the map. He can throw, catch, hit and, read play better than most NFL players Leroy Henry-Jones, Leo Catholic (the Beastmaster) are you kidding me. Who let this giant on the field? Straight beasting everyone in his path. Obediah Hart, Will-Cook Youth Football League (the Young Gun) one year of playing and this kid WOW. Speed, hands, agility. Dude is damn near 6 ft and he's only 13. CRAAAAAAAAZY MAD SKILLS. Then I hear kid plays basketball, track, wrestle, and honor roll. 8th grade???? No limits. Too bad they can't all play together. If they did and with the right coach, someone would get mucked up!! They dominate and I love it. The Bears should take lessons.
