An “out-of-body experience for ‘Lucy’ fans” according to Showbiz Chicago, I LOVE LUCY® LIVE ON STAGE takes audiences back to 1952 as members of the Desilu Playhouse studio audience where they await the filming of two hilarious and oh-so-familiar I LOVE LUCY® episodes, “The Benefit” and “Lucy Has Her Eyes Examined.”
A charming host entertains and enlightens the crowd to the behind-the-scenes filming process of a brand new thing called “television,” the Crystaltone Singers perform advertising jingles in perfect 50s style harmony and the sidesplitting antics of America’s favorite foursome – Lucy, Ricky, Fred and Ethel – are presented live on stage and in color for the very first time! Surprised my boyfriend with this for his birthday, and both of us loved every second of it! The actors were spot on with their portrayals of Lucy and Ricky! Definitely something anyone of all ages would enjoy! We're 22 and 20, and both watched I Love Lucy reruns with our parents as kids, and just getting to sit and watch a show was absolutely amazing!
I went with my brother who is a HUGE I Love Lucy fan and had a blast. The whole cast was AMAZING and had us laughing through out the whole show.
The entire day in Chicago was fabulous. Loved the commercials for the old products. Ricky's band was awesome! Loved Lucy learning the jitterbug and trying to sing on key. The other dancers were great as well! The historic theatre was beautiful.
Exellent show especially that guy who came up from the audience for the Trivia Quiz. I thought he was a plant. ( That was me ). Only wish I had a copy to show my friends.
I bought these tickets for my wife who is an avid I Love Lucy fan, she couldn't sleep that night because she was so excited from what she had just seen, she kept saying how spot-on it was to the original show.
felt like I was part of the show. Great now I know what it like to see how the show became such a great hit

I loved the intereaction with the "plants" in the audience and the costuming was a slice of history.
Upon arrival, our tickets were upgraded from balcony to mezzanine, which made our experience even better. Just like being at a taping of an original show-complete with commercials! Great casting-all did a great job with their roles, especially Ricky!
We truly enjoyed each minute of I Love Lucy. The actors were fabulous and the old commercials brought back many wonderful memories. I would recommend everyone see this!!
