Alexander Howard was incredible. His range, musical talent, and lyrics are truly impressive. He rocked out on stage and was such a fun performer. EVERYONE should see him live.

    Hugo is a must see!

by Bsemler on 5/3/11Birdys - Indianapolis

Great concert! If you are interested in something unique in Pop Music, check out Hugo! With a mix of Blues and old style Rock n' Roll, Hugo's music offers some style in a world of Pop songs that all sound the same. I've been waiting for Old Tyme Religion to be released for a long time. Can't wait for him to come back to Indy!

    not the same HUGO

by luckydevil55 on 5/2/11Mercury Lounge - New York

Although he was a perfectly acceptable entertainer, the HUGO who performed was not the HUGO shown in the photo above. Based on the photo, I expected to see HUGO from the Roc Nation label. I understand how these things happen but I was very disappointed in the bait 'n switch.

    Hugo was Shorto

by bmorgan71 on 3/14/11Beaumont Club - Kansas City

He did a great job of sounding like his album live and the band played great but the opener Root and Stem and the band Fourth or July played longer sets than the headliner Hugo. If all the msic he has is the songs that are going to be on the up and coming album and he can not extend his play set and maybe incorporate a few covers or something you leave the event feeling cheated. LOTS of the crowd said thats it?????????? He also was to good to even come back and sign his own posters. Made me think that maybe he had partied to hard earlier in the day at his other venue for Kegs an Eggs???

    Hugo

by Anonymous on 2/16/11Water Street Music Hall - Rochester

Hugo was pretty good! My friend and I went to hear their song "99 Problems," which did not disappoint. They had a few good songs, and a few not so good ones. They sound good live though! The worst part of the night was just waiting for Hugo to play. All of the bands/singers before them stunk. Plus, the show started around 8 p.m. and Hugo didn't come on until about 10:30 p.m. It was a long, dreadful wait. It was worth it just to hear "99 Problems" though- plus we couldn't beat the price. P.S. Waterstreet should get more tables and chairs for the Club. Standing for hours for mellow bands was not fun.

    Hugo rocks his Hott pants!

by Cortzilla on 2/5/11The Basement - Columbus

I loved both Ian axel, the opening band and Hugo. I dunno if Hugo was really "there" or not but the music definitely rocked the basement.
