I want tickets for next year at the fairgrounds! How did they stage and program that tremendous accident right in front of the grandstand and the last lap pass for the lead and the win? What a great show by these top USAC drivers and machines!
Great Race. Front stretch and back stretch speeds are fast. Lots of action.
If you like the Big Cars on dirt, the Hoosier Hundred this year was a real kick. This is an event with tons of history, and after a few down years the series seems to be on the upswing. This year's edition didn't disappoint, with close competition and a close finish. I'll be back!
BEYOND GOOD. WONDERFUL, BETTER THAN THE TELEVISION!!!!!! GET OFF OF IT AND GET TO THE TRACK!!!!! STOCK CARS ARE A WASTE OF YOU TIME!!!!
The race was horrible, there were way to few cars, the action on the track was non existent, only a handful of passes were made. The disparity between the competition was immense, and the track was too big to allow the leaders to face much of any lapped traffic. I was also expecting to see a modified race as well, didn't happen, event time was listed to be at 8 and mentioned both a Sprint car and modified race, we showed up at 7 to catch a bit of qualifying before the races started. We ended up sitting in the grand stand for an hour, with nothing to do. I will not go to this race ever again, I will spend my money watching sprinters run in bloomington and other small tracks around instead, better competition and way cheaper.
