    Thoroughly Modern Millie was phenomenal

by alexcarson on 5/18/15Freud Playhouse - Los Angeles

This entirely student run theatre company left me in awe. The orchestra opened strong and I knew I was in for a good show. The leads and ensemble were talented and the scenic design was gorgeous.

    10/10 would recommend!

by TheatreFanaticAMB on 5/11/15Frued Playhouse - Los Angeles

Always professional, always committed, always tons of energy and tons of fun! I saw Thoroughly Modern Millie and I'm extremely excited for Our Town in a few weeks! Free tickets for students and reasonable prices for others, HOOLIGAN is a fantastic company that puts on incredible shows! Costumes, make up, set, vocals, dance, acting, and amazing orchestration: they have it all.

    Actors great, band horrendous

by TheaterDirector on 4/16/13Ralph Freud Playhouse - Los Angeles

I brought my husband & two young children to see "The Drowsy Chaperone" on Sunday afternoon. The kids absolutely loved it. My husband & I thought that all of the actors were fantastic, but the band was so awful to the point that it was distracting. The horns were always off pitch, the pacing was terrible, and it just sounded awful overall. The actors tried their best to keep up with the band, but sometimes they couldn't get on their correct pitch because the music was so off. The company seems to have great actors, singers, and dancers, but a musical needs good music!

The Hooligan troupe was great, from the Directors, the Ensemble, to the Leads.
