    Holiday Follies was great entertainment

by SammiMurray on 12/25/12Signature Theatre - Arlington

We are so glad that we were able to enjoy this year's Holiday fun at the Follies. The couces were spectacular, and the musicians really seemed to enjoy each other and us - the audience. Such fun!!

    Just right for the holidays

    by Iam72 on 12/24/12Signature Theatre - Arlington

The six entertainers provide a mixture of holiday music from the traditional to the unexpected. You will laugh one moment and be touched in the next. The casual intimate room is just right for the music. Everyone in the family will like this show.

Don't miss this for holiday fun!

by HNMjpg on 12/20/12Signature Theatre - Arlington

Signature Theatre has done it again! Instead of recycling the old standards for Christmas, they have given audiences the present of a new, fresh and joyful Holiday Follies! The twist in this one is that even the cast doesn't know the song order - they let the audience choose as they go. This keeps the cast on their toes, and the audience involved. As usual, though, the quality of the voices, the humor and the "bits" are first rate. Each actor brings their own special quality to the evening. It's one for everyone, and one that should not be missed. Go, and find out what both the fun and the spirit of the season can bring you.

I felt the production was very well done. The performers were excellent. The costumes and scenery were very good. My only criticism is it was geared to older children and not four and five year old children. I don't think they understood all the Cincinnati references.

Music and sound was very good

by Nonuts on 12/12/11Taft Theatre - Cincinnati

I took my 8 yr old granddaughter and sat in the Balcony. We had previously been to the Taft on another performance and sat in the floor seats. She had a hard time seeing due to adults in front of her. She clapped at the performances and remarked that it was too short. I had hoped for a 2 hr show, however, it only lasted 1 hr. I do wish that they would extend the time in future shows.

    Great Cincinnati Holiday Spirit

by SLMartin on 12/12/11Taft Theatre - Cincinnati

I wasn't quite sure if it was going to be a theatrical performance for just children, but my husband and I were extremely delighted that it was for all ages. I loved the "home for the holidays, with our families in Cincinnati" theme. What a great way to showcase our beautiful city, and bring the different holiday traditions of many into one GREAT performance!!!!

    45 minute commercial

by Anonymous on 12/12/11Taft Theatre - Cincinnati

I was very disappointed in this year's Holiday Follies! I get the idea that it was to celebrate all of the things and places that make Cincinnati special, but it came off as one big commercial - especially the several outright statements of "shop at Macy's". It didn't seem to really be geared toward kids either; not many funny parts and the story was very lackluster. I'm not sure that we will be going back next year.

A Delight for the Child in All of Us!

by Merrya on 12/12/11Taft Theatre - Cincinnati

Holiday Follies appealed to each of our family's three generations in attendance Saturday evening! We - each - were mesmerized and delighted by the scenery, actors, music, talent & script of tribute to Cincinnati at the holiday performance! Outstanding!
