    Awesome Experience

by BeardedSarcasm on 12/12/12The National - Richmond

This is definitely a show worth going to. The multimedia event was one of a kind and it was a unique experience I have yet to have. The shorts were very entertaining as well as the interactive experience. I would go again and strongly recommend the same to anyone else.

    HITRECORD was fun

by EmCville on 11/25/12The National - Richmond

I enjoyed the opportunity to see the finished products of many artists from all over the world who have collaborated with their creative juices, That was cool and inspiring. JGL was pretty fun and I appreciate what he's trying to do with this project. The only two downsides: Not a lot of interaction with any of us in the balcony - the main focus was all on the orchestra crowd. The other was the show started about 40 minutes late and that was rather annoying. I would go see it again though because I sense there would be a different experience each time.

This show was so great! Joseph Gordon-Levitt is awesome! I love the interaction of this show with audiences. This venue is small and bit old, chair just ok.

Mr. Levitt knows how to put on a show!

by StrawberryRay on 11/20/12The National - Richmond

I went into the show with only an idea about Joseph-Gordon Levitt's website hitRECord. Not having spent enough time on my the website myself I was unsure exactly what it was all about but a close friend ranted and raved about it so going on good judgement I went. They surprisingly fit all the chairs into the venue which was awesome. We were so close to the stage it felt like I could touch the people presenting. The lighting, cameras, and video recording in general was brilliant and throughout the venue. After a long wait in line and for the show to start they announced Regular Joe. He came out with a huge grin and immediately got people involved in the show. We saw films, pictures, and all artsy things from the website plus tons of audience members interaction. In general was one of the most entertaining events I've seen!

Definitely an interesting, collaborative show. However, the majority of the show was viewing clips that can be accessed online, so I wouldn't say that paying $50 for a 90 minute show of JGL introducing these clips and seeing audience members dance, sing, or speak the lines was worth the money. Maybe it'd be worth $30... cause he is pretty attractive to look at and entertaining to listen to.
