Your never to old to Rock and Roll if your to young to die
Henry Gross was great. Still has a beautiful voice. Big Brother, the second act, can be described by one word, loud. Sound quality poor. Female “Janis” had a loud voice, but the whole act lacked musicality and polish in my opinion. We left as the third act was warming up. I never do that. Fun seeing the people there to reminisce.
The woman singing Janis' parts in Big Brother was excellent. What a voice! Other band members? Looked like nice people. Vanilla Fudge? I've seen them before, but was disappointed this time. They Put their all into it, but the song selection was very poor. We were SO looking forward to Ten Years After. Disappointed again. The guitarist/singer tried, but he missed the mark. Then again, who could compare to Alvin Lee... WORST OF ALL, THE SOUND WAS TERRIBLE, FOR THE GUITARS IN ALL 3 BANDS! HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE? YOU HAD 1 JOB! unbelievable
Brward Center is a great venue, All the bands were terrific! Thank you for a great show
There were fewer bands, than in the past. There were no Hippiefest 2019 T-Shirts. No vendors in courtyard. Have been going to Hippiefest since 2009, my seats were GREAT, but needed more of a lineup of bands. Its all about the music, we needed more.
It was a good night out we had a lot of fun and enjoyed the show
I LOVE going to shows at the Parker Playhouse. Love the decor...the staff is so welcoming & courteous!! They greet you with a smile, they walk you to your seat....they REALLY enjoy what they do & it shows. I was at the HippieFest 2018.... Everything was great...if I had 1 (and only one) complaint, its the "No Picture Taking" policy. I'm sure its either "band policy" or industry policy. Even though they hosted an "autograph signing" after the show, it was a shame not to be able to even snap a photo of your hero's "IN ACTION". I bought tickets because Mitch Ryder was on the bill...but (understandably) not part of the autograph signing afterwards. I will ALWAYS support the Parker Playhouse!! You guys are the best!! Thanks for keeping a little slice of "our history" alive!! Jamie Wood Delray Beach, FL
Where do I start? the artists were fantastic, they played all the old music of the day, it was great to see them again,The Venue was perfect we had the best seats in the house! the price was a little high but after all it was worth it to experience memories of the past. I would go again and again!
Great show! Everybody could have played a few more songs, especially the Fudge! I liked that Rick Derringer was the "emcee" for the event! Cool! Peace, Love, and Rock N Roll!
Basically, first part of the concert was good although half the venue was empty. Second part was the showstopper , Valilla Fudge, which had the effect of eating two pounds of vanilla fudge and going into a coma which most of the audience experienced.
