    where was the neo soul

by soswet on 9/14/10Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre - Atlanta

The 2 neo soul artists were the last to perform. After 3 and a half hours of rap, poetry and screaming from unknowns, when Algrebra and Kindred came on they could only perform a few songs. Their performance was cut short/ Kindred only did 4 songs. For that price I was expecting a neo-soul performance and not a hip hop show. They actually had too many performers on the bill. Some truly could have been left off. I left very tired and disappointed. I will not attend another affair they have.

Quite a disappointment... Amateur at best... Premier act KINDRED came on at 1115 & only got to sing four songs. Algebra mustve thought she was the headliner and had to told when to stop... Applaud the young brothers for the effort but $115 was truly wasted on this.

Kindred and Algebra were great! All of the opening acts were long, drawn out and boring with the exception of Ms. Latifah and The Reminders. The event seemed unorganized and poorly planned.
