HE'S MY BROTHER SHE'S MY SISTER IN CONCERT:

Hippie folksters He's My Brother She's My Sister are a high-energy quintet that are stirring up the Los Angeles music scene with their country-infused Southern rock sound. From a top hat-wearing frontman and his gypsy-like sibling to a tap-dancing drummer, He's My Brother She's My Sister are an eclectic bunch that know how to get fans on their feet during their energetic live shows. Back on tour, the group will treat ticket buyers at their must-see performances to infectious music from their 2012 debut Nobody Dances In This Town.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Los Angeles-based folk rock outfit He's My Brother She's My Sister first formed as an acoustic duo between siblings Rachel and Rob Kolar before quickly expanding to a quintet with the addition of Aaron Robinson, Lauren Brown, and Oliver Newell. After releasing a self-titled EP, the band earned widespread acclaim with their 2012 full-length debut Nobody Dances In This Town, which led to a number of performances at major music festivals and sold-out shows in their hometown. Since then, the group have earned a reputation for their untamed live performances. Whether lead singer Rachel is climbing the stage rafters or percussionist Brown is tap dancing atop a drum, the group puts on an unforgettable show, and fans will get a chance to experience all of the unconventional stage antics on the latest must-see tour.

He's My Brother, She's My Sister is my new favorite band. They are a great live band with an amazing vibe. The Teragram is also an amazing venue, very intimate and very accommodating. I will definitely be visiting again soon!

Brother, Sister - Your New Family!!

    by EGKR on 6/20/13Track 29 - Chattanooga

Caught them as an opening act for Edward Sharpe...I listened to a couple songs before the show and knew they were in the same vein, but didnt know what to expect. An amazing show!! Their showmanship was tremendous and charming. The bassist was great and the lead singers (the brother and sister) were outstanding...we thought we were witnessing the second coming of Janis Joplin the way she swung her hair, swilved her hips, and pumped her vocals...but my fave had to be Lauren Brown, the drummer! She looks llike a model, wears mini skirts, stands up playing the drums in tap shoes, while tap dancing a beat and playing at the same time...nuff said! They are must see
