I totally enjoyed the whole concert. Heads of State's performance was so good that I have already booked reservations for the next event featuring New Edition (members of Heads of State) in Nashville this summer.

UPDATE: HEAD OF STATE - RESCHEDULED FROM AUGUST

by CEEMOORE on 9/7/13Warner Theatre - Washington DC

HEAD OF STATE DIDN'T DISAPPOINT. EVERYBODY STOOD UP AND DANCED THROUGH THEIR ENTIRE PERFORMANCE. BOBBY WAS A BIT SLUGGISH AT TIMES, BUT HE WAS ENTERTAINING. JOHNNY SHOULD HAVE MADE A MORE STRONGER IMPACT SINCE HE WAS IN HIS HOMETOWN. I FELT BAD FOR EL DEBARGE, HE DIDN'T HAVE A BAND! HE HAD TO SING A LONG TO TRACKS (APPLE LAPTOP ON STAGE), BUT HE DEFINITELY WASN'T LIPSYNCING. HE PLAYED THE KEYBOARD AND SANG HIS HEART OUT!

    Heads of State were amazing!!!

    by Caramel17 on 8/23/13Constitution Hall - Washington

Heads of State were amazing but I wish they would replace Bobby with Ricky. I saw this show last year so I'm a little late on the post. Thsee are the real Heads of State from New Edition(Ralph, Ricky, and Johnny). Bobby does not have the vocals he used to have I wish the guys would be honest with him. Bobby needs a personal trainer and a voice coach and that still might not work. Overall the show is a hit as long as Ralph and Johnny can continue singing Bobby songs. Bobby voice is harsh, scratchy, and ragged, and offensive to my ears especially when he tries to belt out the song through his straining voice. Yes, Bobby son coming out on stage is getting old and the family is very distracting.

    Disappointed....Birthday gift!!!

by CEEMOORE on 8/11/13Warner Theatre - Washington DC

Was so looking forward to the concert (to see Bobby, Ralph, Johnny and El Debarge), but 30 minutes before leaving home, I found out the concert was postponed at the last minute. If I hadn't happen to be on facebook and was friends w/Majic102.3 when it was posted, I would have wasted time and $$$ going to DC. No information as to why it was postponed...hate to say it but....Bobby or El? We shall see on the new date Sept. 6 who will show up!

Best concert I've seen in almost 10 years

by AtlSam on 7/17/13Chastain Park Amphitheatre ASO - Atlanta

I frequent a lot of concerts and most are blah. With one headlining artist and a few throw ins. However this was the first concert where every artist did their thing. Color Me Badd was to my surprise, GREAT. They can still blow. I wasn't sure about Al B, but he did his thing as well. I just wish he had done more songs. They had some kind of poetry thing after Al B and they could have kept that. After 7 is my all time favorite group. They did excellent. Wish Melvin was still part of the group but the new third member (I hear it is Melvin's son) was more than capable. And then we have Heads of State. My only gripe is that I wish Johnny Gill did a few newer songs, but having to share the stage with the other two, I understand that he only had a few he could do. Bobby and Ralph was fantastic as well. They all did about 3 solo songs each. It was great. I really hope they come back to Atlanta soon.

After 7, Al B Sure and Color Mr Badd were great!

by Sunshinefree on 7/16/13Chastain Park Amphitheatre ASO - Atlanta

Al B Sure still has a great voice. Kevon Edmonds was awesome as usual.
