Show is amazing
Hamilton is just a great show in general. Lin Manuel Miranda is a genius songwriter. I think most people who see this show are previous fans but I personally feel like you need a basic understanding of the show to fully enjoy it live because it is a lot to take in. I think the interpretation of the show can definitely be changed depending on the cast you have. Our Aaron Burr, albeit a very talented singer and actor, gave his role a tone of comedy. Which as I have listened to the whole setlist a million times is a nice change of pace, it changed the character relationship dynamic between him and Hamilton. The theatre is a different situation. Be prepared to not pee the whole time if you are using the womens room. The intermission situation is atrocious in the richard rodgers theatre. The seats are also very limited on leg room so tough luck if youre tall (like me and my partner). Just be careful if you are visiting the city and have shopping bags or other. I recommend Front Mezz seats for this show. I was in row E seats 1 & 3 and we could see everything comfortably. Perfect view of the rotating floor and everything going on above the stage. Worth every penny.

Excellent!
This was my second time seeing this show, but the first time for my two teenagers daughters. The show was excellent! The theater is beautiful, but the space on the seats was terrible. I am only 5’2” and my knees were tortured by the lack of leg space. But other than that we had an amazing time!

cried like a baby
this show is fantastic and the vocals are absolutely incredible. You need to see this show at least once if you can get to it. It is so SO worth it. At one point you could hear the entire crowd sniffling from how much the emotion was transferred from the stage to everyone siting down!

Amazing show but logically not the best seats
Hamilton is the best Broadway show and it's on the top of my list, but I have to be honest: the rear mezzanine seats are not the best. I bought three tickets in November a week before Thanksgiving and they were pretty cheap ($149) each plus insurance. Despite getting cheap tickets 5 months in advance, the seats weren't the best. For one, the seats were pretty cramped, and sat close to the ceiling looking down on the stage, and have the awkward outline of the person's head sitting in front of me blocking my view of the characters when they came close to the edge of the stage. I found myself squinting during the show and thought I was seeing vertical. Another thing was that these seats were so far in the back that you were sitting behind the speakers so the music was pretty soft and hard to hear. I think if the seats were designed to be staggered, maybe there wouldn't be people blocking your view while watching the show. All in all, the show was totally worth it to go to, my family and I waited 5 months with the anxiety of covid cases postponing the show, but I would recommend saving your money for seats in the front mezzanine for better quality of the show.

AMAZING!!!
I went yesterday and it was amazing!!! Their performance was amazing they all did so well! The sound and visual their performance was perfect how they handled everything was on point. This was definetely worth it. The seating was very close together and not very spatious but other than that everything was great! Great Job!

Great show, bad theatre
The performances were fantastic and worth the money. However, the theatre was such a disappointment. Absolutely no drinks served and no notice prior. So to sit there for 3 hours without access to water without a heads up was wrong I think. Not to mention the bars look like they were untouched for a decade with sad dusty shelves and a few leftover sodas. Cardboard boxes of memorabilia just sitting around on the shelves. You would think they would take more pride in the theatre to spruce it up or acknowledge the rules of drinks and suggest where someone could find water.

One of my favorite days ever
I won the Broadway lottery for Halloween after entering daily since Broadway reopened. I flew over from Detroit with my daughter and we sat in the first row in awe, joy, teary- eyed, laughing, EVERYTHING! I've seen the tour but nothing is like being front grow in the room where it happened! I was looking forward to seeing Miguel perform but we had his understudy who was also great. JM Inglehart was a standout IMO, and all three Schuyler sisters too! Krystal Joy Brown's voice is like a powerful Disney princess and I mean that as the best compliment. Mandy as Angelica was awesome, we know her as Nina from ITH. Overall, it was one of the best days of my life and a bucket list thing. Really wish I saw OBC back 5-6 years ago but it's still wonderful.
