    H-Town

    by Sexy Gemini on 10/31/21

I've been attending the H-Town Blues Festival since day one and every year it goes up and down with the performers..its not the same when you had Mel Waiters, Bobby Blue Bland, Floyd Taylor, Sir Charles Jones and Lenny Williams...now thats when it was a concert...please keep Sir Charles and T.K Soul in the line up at all times and all performers need at least 45 to perform...the sponsors have not been doing a good job lately...

    Too Short

by Ready Reg on 4/5/19NRG Arena - Houston

Well first of all I didn't care about the long lines, because it move really good. The problem I had was once I got inside the arena I forgot my seats numbers and whatever else that goes with it, but anyways I couldn't remember my seats and of course I couldn't pull the seats back up on phone once inside. I asked one person that works in the arena for help that lasted about 3 1/2 mins. Then I asked another person who works in the arena for help and I asked her does the arena has WiFi and she tried for about 5mins. to get my tickets pulled back up, once the person begin to help me, she was called off, never came back, so I went outside and guess what no tickets found. I was a bit out done with no WiFi and nobody was able to help me. Now about the show, you had how many guess? Pokey TK Soul Tucker and on and on. So the show started at 8pm I was on time and it was over before 12 midnight Oh come on, really, for the money I spent I'll never do that show again and it seem like everybody was rushing through their songs, like they was trying to hurry up to finish so the could go home. To top it off TK Soul song his songs off a damn DJ no band what theeee!!!! Hey man that show wasn't cool! And that was my second time going. Okay yea right if I do that again. Later

    Blues Fest

    by t. on 4/2/19NRG Arena - Houston

It was ok. Each trip to the women’s bathroom with the line outside the door was enough to miss the performers’ brief time on stage. Again it was ok. Something to do. With planning this could have been a crazy hyped event. Tucka was the best!

    Disappointed in Htown Blues Fest

    by R. on 4/1/19NRG Arena - Houston

Artists were not singing their own songs. If I wanted to hear and see Ray Charles perform, I would have went to a Ray Charles concert, God rest his soul. I left before the concert ended. This was also my very first time going to an Htown Blues Fest.
