    PMA

by ItsClobberinKeim on 2/11/11Roxy Theatre - West Hollywood

The event was being held for Toby Morris' One Life One Chance (http://www.onelifeonechance.com/) and this was reiterated throughout the night and especially in a video clip prior to H20's set. I believe the message was clearly transmitted and appreciate everything being done. Additionally, the show was sold out but did not feel to packed and the venue withheld a relatively comfortable temperature throughout the night. The staff remained cool headed and polite all evening as well, this is a first for me being from the East Coast. I'm used to ego driven meatheads being paid to cause issues with their patrons.

    Awesome benefit concert!

Set Your Goals was incredible. That was the main reason I went. Then I saw Travis Barker play the last two or three songs with H2O. Even got to take a picture with him.

    H2O X Travis Barker X Matt Skiba - OLOC X FSAS

by famousburro on 2/8/11Roxy Theatre - West Hollywood

this show was to benefit Toby's charity One Life One Chance. with the help of Travis Barker and his compang Famous Stars and Straps this was setup to be a memorable event from the beginning. selling out only a few hours before doors opened, many fans were left thinking why they had waited so long to get tickets while driving back home. opening bands Touché Amore and Set Your Goals were impressive in their own rights. the crowd was constantly reminded that it was a no barricade show which they gladly took advantage of. limited edition OLOC shirts and posters designed by tattooist Dan Smith were also being sold at the show. apparently H2O's only southern California show for 2011 (and the year has just started) this show was a cannot miss and many fans from all over the US were in attendance. H2O plus no barricade means unlimited crowd surfing and stage diving and that's exactly what happened. joining H2O to perform "What Happened" for the first time ever was none other than Alkaline Trio's Matt Skiba. Topping off this great event, drummer extraordinaire Travis Barker joined H2O for their last 2 songs "Guilty by Association" and "One Life, One Chance". at the end of the night, fans lucky enough to have witnessed this amazing show left with OLOC's positive message still in tact. PMA all day.
