Directions to the Greensboro Coliseum Complex including the Greensboro Coliseum, War Memorial Auditorium, Special Events Center, Odeon Theater, Terrace, ACC Hall of Champions and White Oak Amphitheater:

I-85 South / I-40 West from Burlington
From the I-85 South / I-40 west split, follow I-40 West 7.5 miles too Exit 218-B Freeman Mill Road. Go .3 miles and turn left on Coliseum Boulevard. One mile to the Complex on your left, turn left onto Ellington Street and right into the main entrance.

I-85 North from Charlotte
On I-85 North from Charlotte, take Exit 120-A to access I-85 Business North. Continue 2 miles to Exit 35-B Highway US 220 North. Proceed 1.8 miles and turn left on Coliseum Boulevard. One mile to the Complex on your left, turn left onto Ellington Street and right into the main entrance.

I-40 East from Winston Salem
On I-40 East from Winston Salem, take Exit 216 Patterson Street, continue straight ahead for 2.4 miles to the Coliseum Complex. Or, continue 5 miles on I-40 East to Exit 217 High Point Road. Turn left at top of ramp and continue 1 mile on High Point Road to Ellington Street. Turn right for .5 miles and enter Complex through main entrance.

US 220 North from Asheboro
Highway 220 North to Greensboro becomes Freeman Mill Road. Stay on Freeman Mill Road, after crossing I-85 Business, proceed 1.8 miles and turn left onto Coliseum Boulevard. 1 mile to the Complex on your left, turn left onto Ellington Street and right into the main entrance.

US 220 South from Virginia
On Highway 220 South to Greensboro, road changes name to Battleground Avenue in the City. After crossing Cornwallis Drive, keep right which becomes Westover Terrace. Continue straight on Westover Terrace which becomes Aycock Street. Continue straight for 3 miles and turn right at Lee Street (Wendy's on the right). The Complex is one mile on your left. Turn left onto Coliseum Boulevard .3 miles to Ellington Street and turn right and enter Complex through main entrance.

Highway Directions from Piedmont Triad International Airport
Leave the airport and exit east to I-40 and Bryan Boulevard. Remain in the right lane 1.5 miles and exit to I-73 south (unmarked) I-40 Raleigh/Winston Salem. Continue on I-73 South, 2.7 miles to exit 1 I-40 east. Continue 3 miles to Exit 216 Patterson Street. Continue straight ahead for 2.5 miles to the Coliseum complex. Or, continue 4.2 miles on I-40 East to Exit 217 High Point Road. Turn left at top of ramp and continue 1 mile on High Point Road to Ellington Street. Turn right for .5 miles and enter Complex through main entrance.

For Drop-Offs – Please enter the drop off lane off High Point Road in front of the ACC Hall of Champions. It is a short walk of approximately 500 yards to the White Oak Amphitheater.

Coliseum Advance Box Office – Please park in the Schiffman’s Diamond Club Parking Lot off High Point Road during normal business hours Monday thru Saturday for advance box office hours of 11:00 am to 6:00 pm. This lot closes to regular ticket buyers at 5:30 PM event days.

Parking

Parking Location: The Greensboro Coliseum Complex maintains 6,000+ parking spaces in paved, lighted and managed parking lots on site at the facility. 4,800 spaces are located in the main parking lot accessible by entering the parking gates from Ellington Street and Patterson Avenue and are closest to the Amphitheater. Additional parking spaces are located in front of War Memorial Auditorium and across Lee Street in the Lee Street Parking Lot at the northeast corner of Lee Street and Coliseum Boulevard.

Season Parking Gate: The private Season Parking Pass gate for Sports teams and Symphony events is located along Coliseum Boulevard where special season passes are accepted.

RV Parking: For certain events, overnight RV parking is permitted to include power service of 50 amps for $40 per RV per night. Space is subject to available and limited. Call 336-373-7492 to request availability.

Price (if applicable): Parking is charged based on the type of event scheduled and ranges from $4 to $15 per space utilized. This is generally $4.00 for consumer shows, $5.00 for local sports events, $8.00 for Family shows and $7 to $15 for major concerts. Parking lot attendants are on duty during major events to help direct patrons with appropriate credentials to handicap and reserved spaces and to assist with regular car, RV and bus parking. RV and bus parking is charged by the number of spaces occupied.

Approximate # of Parking spaces: 6,000+ on-site parking spaces are available in paved, lighted and managed parking lots.

Handicapped parking (availability/location): Handicap parking spaces are located in front of each venue and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Handicap van parking spaces are marked. Handicap parking spaces are charged accordingly along with general public parking spaces.

Mass transit directions: The Greensboro Transit Authority (GTA) maintains a stop nearby the Coliseum Complex at the intersection of High Point Road and Patterson Street. Box Office Hours

Advance Box Office Location at venue:
An Advance Box Office is located on-site beside the Coliseum Administrative Offices along High Point Road where High Point changes to Lee Street beside the Coliseum just north of Stamey’s BBQ.

Advance Box Office Hours of operation:
Monday thru Saturday, 11:00 am – 6:00 pm, also open during major event hours. The dedicated facility box offices open 2 hours prior to event show-times. For events where tickets are only available at the door, the box office opens 30 minutes before door openings.

Other Box Office Information:
A Valid matching ID is required for all check & credit card purchases at the advance box office.

The Advance Coliseum Complex Box Office is located on ground level and is accessible to the physically challenged. The dedicated facility Box offices are also located on ground level.

Cash, American Express, Visa, MasterCard or Discover Card. A valid matching ID is required for credit card purchases. Checks are accepted with valid matching ID and check-validation procedures. Checks on not accepted at the door with sales two (2) hours prior to the event.

Accessible Seating

Greensboro Coliseum Complex is committed to meeting the needs of all guests including those that are hearing impaired, physically challenged or mobility impaired. If you require specific ADA seating accommodations, please call the Coliseum ADA Hotline at 336-218-5333.

Greensboro Coliseum Accessible and Physically Challenged Seating:
Accessible seating is located in all levels of the Coliseum. Generally patrons needing access but not a wheelchair location sit at the back rows of the lower level sections in front of physically challenged seating. Physically challenged seating is specifically located stage left and right on the floor, in sections 102, 106, 112, 116, 118, 124, 128 & 132 in the lower level of the Coliseum. It is specifically located in 201, 203, 205, 207, 209, 213, 215, 217, 219, 223, 224, 227, 229, 233, 235, 237 & 239 in the upper level.

War Memorial Auditorium Accessible and Physically Challenged Seating:
Physically Challenged seating is located in three sections of the War Memorial Auditorium Orchestra level. These are in Right Orchestra Row B, Left Orchestra Row C, and Right Center Orchestra Row, Row GG. Since the Auditorium is on ground level with minor slopes, all orchestra seating is accessible, with preference being on how far a person desires to travel down an aisle.

Odeon Theater Accessible and Physically Challenged Seating:
Physically Challenged seating is located in two sections of the Odeon Theater. These are in Right Orchestra Row A and Left Orchestra Row A. Since the Odeon is on ground level with minor slopes, all orchestra seating is accessible, with preference being on how far a person desires to travel down an aisle.

Special Events Center Accessible and Physically Challenged Seating:
Physically Challenged seating is located in two sections of the Special Events Center Floor level. These are in Section 108 and 126 and these are also accessible seating based on being on ground level.

White Oak Amphitheatre Accessible and Physically Challenged Seating:
Physically Challenged seating is located in several sections of the Amphitheatre. These are in front Right and left Gold Circle of Section 1. They are also located in Section 7 of the reserved seating area. Additional ADA seating is located adjacent to the lawn. Since the Amphitheatre is on ground level with minor slopes, all seating is accessible, with preference being on how far a person desires to travel down an aisle or to a lawn location.

Availability:
Disabled seating can be sold through the Coliseum Box Office or Ticketmaster charge-by-phone at 336-852-1100. It is not available at outlets or via the internet. Internet patrons should be directed to Ticketmaster phones or the Coliseum Box Office to purchase disabled seating. Accessible seating is subject to availability and is sold on a first-come, first-served basis.

Visually/Hearing Impaired Seating:
Please contact the Coliseum ADA Hotline at 336-218-5333 visually/hearing impaired seating locations. The Coliseum utilizes floor seating for the visually impaired.

Guide dogs are permitted inside Complex facilities.

The Coliseum presently maintains FM assistive listening devices which may be obtained from Guest Services in the Coliseum upon arrival. The Usher Supervisor maintains these units in the Auditorium and Special Events Center.

Interpreters:
Interpreters are available for the hearing impaired by arranging for a minimum of 10 days prior to an event to ensure proper service and scheduling. Please call the Coliseum Guest Services Manager at 336-373-7461 to request interpreter services. The Coliseum utilizes a TDD line if necessary at 336-333-6930.

General Rules

Greensboro Coliseum Complex Admission Policies: All persons and items entering the Coliseum Complex facilities are subject to inspection. For patron protection, the following items are prohibited from being brought into the Greensboro Coliseum Complex:

Cameras with lenses larger than 4”
Bags (larger than 10”x 8”x 8”)
Backpacks
Beach Balls
Cans, Glass or Metal containers
Coolers (unless containing medical supplies)
Diaper Bags (unless accompanied by a baby)
Fireworks or any Explosive
Folding Chairs
Food and Beverage
Helium Balloons
Illegal Drugs
Knives of any size
Laser Pointers
Lawn Chairs or tents
Pets (except service animals for the disabled)
Promotional items with commercial identification
Strollers
Tape Recorders
Umbrellas (except with venue exception based on weather)
Weapons of any description (weapons carried with a permit are also prohibited)
Signs, banners, flags or any other items that would either obstruct the view of a patron or serve as a dangerous projectile or security risk.

Other items that, in the judgment of Coliseum management, pose a safety risk or diminish the enjoyment of an event by other guests shall also be prohibited. When a prohibited item is discovered after a patron enters the facility, the item shall be confiscated and disposed of, the patron may be ejected from the facility, shall be denied re-entry and ticket price will not be refunded.

Consent Inspections:
Guests are subject to consent inspections upon entering Greensboro Coliseum Complex facilities. Consent inspections may involve metal detectors. Patrons refusing to follow entry policies will not be admitted.

Dress Code:
Shirts and shoes are required to be worn at all events at Greensboro Coliseum Complex.

Smoke-free facility:
Smoking is prohibited inside Coliseum Complex facilities which are designated as smoke-free. This includes the amphitheater. Smoking is only allowed in specific designated locations and is subject to individual event availability. Coliseum Management reserves the right to not operate an outside smoking area based on management factors pertaining to specific events.

Amphitheater Special Note:
Lawn chairs, coolers, umbrellas, wagons or other devices are prohibited inside the Amphitheater. Blankets are permitted. Pets are not permitted unless a part of an ADA requirement.

Alcohol Sales: Beer, wine and soft drinks are all available at specific events subject to crowd management policies and procedures. Patrons are required to have a valid driver’s license from any state, military ID, passport or valid North Carolina State issued ID. Out of state ID cards are not accepted.



Children Rules

Minimum age for admittance if any:
Parents should carefully consider whether a performance is appropriate for children before planning to attend. All events are open to the public and there are no minimum age restrictions. Only specific events will have a minimum age limit which will be communicated in local advertising. Should a young child be unable to sit quietly through a quiet event, ushers will ask the parent or child to step into the concourse until they can be quieted.

Minimum age at which paid tickets are mandatory: The general policy is if a child has had their second birthday, a ticket is required. The policy supersedes numbers of seats required (i.e. - a ticket is required regardless of whether the child sits in the seat purchased or the parents lap). Select shows may require tickets for all ages or ages one year old and up to have a ticket.

Booster seats are not always available and are subject to use.

Minimum # of persons:
Generally groups are 20+. There are certain events that are 15+ as determined by show requirement. Group Discounts may not be available for all performances. Specific details are available by calling the Greensboro Coliseum Group Sales Department.

Discounts are always subject to availability and not valid on previously purchased tickets. Double discounts are not permitted. Discount Coupons are generally only redeemable at the Coliseum Advance Box Office in advance of events and are not generally available to the door.

Guest Services:
Guest Services staff are available to assist with questions, problems, suggestions or special needs related to events. Guest Services is located at Section 103 in the Coliseum. Guest Services staff circulates throughout the Auditorium and Special Events Center. A Guest Services tent will be located inside the main west gate of the Amphitheatre.

First Aid:
First Aid stations are located in Coliseum facilities and are staffed with Guilford County
Paramedics.

Lost & Found:
Lost and found items should be taken to Guest Services at section 103 or give to a Coliseum Event Staff Person. To check for lost and found items after your return home, please call 336-373-7400 during normal business hours.

Re-cycling:
The Coliseum Complex is dedicated to protecting our environment and to sustaining the quality of life for all citizens of Greensboro. The Coliseum offers recycling containers in lobby areas and concourses. Patrons are encouraged to deposit all empty aluminum cans and bottles, newspapers, and empty plastic bottles in the designated recycling containers to assist in recycling efforts

Cameras or Recording Devices:
Greensboro Coliseum policies listed above regulate size cameras and lens however, some performers have policies that further restrict cameras or any recoding devices from being brought into Coliseum facilities. When an artist requests a “no camera or recording device” policy, we are obligated to enforce this policy upon request. Please check in advance or with an Event Staff person prior to entering the facility to avoid any issues at entry gates or with show security staff.

Greensboro Coliseum:
For the majority of events, the Coliseum is all Reserved seating. However for certain rare events the Coliseum will be General Admission. Please review ticket purchasing options for any GA offerings.

War Memorial Auditorium:
