Awesome Must-Go Event For Beer Lovers
Colorado Convention Center - Denver
I attended the GABF in 2015 and had an amazing time! I came prepared with a pretzel necklace for mid festival snaking, which I think is important to enjoy as many beers as possible to help curb the intoxication. We also viewed the brewery list before and came up with a game plane for which breweries we had to see. You will never see this many breweries under one roof! Especially many breweries that do not distribute in Colorado or outside their own state. Have you heard of a great brewery whose brews you can get a hold of in you local beer store or pub? take a look, they'll probably be pouring fresh brews at this event! As a beer enthusiast, this is the best and quickest way to try as many breweries as you heart desires within your tolerance. If you love beer and have not been to this event, YOU HAVE TO GO AT LEAST ONCE IN YOUR LIFETIME!

I've been to this beer festival 4 times over the last 12 years. If you're a craft beer lover, it just doesn't get any better than this...

Cool Event, Beware of Scalpers
colorado convention center - denver
This event is a great opportunity for beer lovers to sample hundreds of brews in one location. Many dress up in costumes, wear pretzel necklaces, and let loose. The party doesn't get out of control by any stretch, but you won't be bored. Woulda given it 5 stars if it weren't for the price, lack of music, and that it's impossible to get tickets with all the scalpers snatching them up. The scalpers have become a real problem over the last 2 years.

Great American Beer Fest - Denver
Getting tickets is as bad if not worse than any major sporting event. Beer Fest itself is great. Assuming you can get tickets, get in line early the day of Fest - at least an hour.

GABF: On the bucket list
Convention Center - Denver
If you like beer and beer culture, you must go at least once. You're likely to try a new beer you love (and a few you might hate) as well as some that you could only experience otherwise in a brewery taproom. Enjoy the diversity in brewing! Parking sucks, the lines can suck but after a few samples, you don't care any more. Don't plan on driving home.

Poor
Convention Center - Denver
This event is poorly organized, and over crowded. The people running things are clearly incompetent. Every year there are ticket sales problems, and yet thousands on stubhub within the hour. There isn't even music at GABF. There are several, much better beer festivals in this state.

GABF Lived up to the Hype
Colorado Convention Center - Denver
GABF was an incredible experience. I have never seen so many breweries in one place. The staff and volunteers were all very helpful and courteous, and they expedited the process of moving people into the convention center about as well as they could have. No complaints at all. This is a must go event for any beer aficionado.

A must GO
Denver Convention Center - Denver
If you want to have a beer; yes this is where you go. If you want to party; yes this is where you go. If you want to have over 50,000 beers and Party; yes this is where you will be. Its a must go - Hands down.
The Great American Beer Festival is the premier U.S. beer festival and competition. It's three days, 800+ breweries and 3,500+ beers! GABF was founded in 1982, and has been growing and evolving along with the American craft brewing industry ever since.
