Attended the NE Duals in Troy, NY 4-5 times, that event is a much better value. Despite fewer Div I teams in Troy, there were better varieties of teams (MW). Tickets were 50-75% cheaper -- plus watching your favorite team 3x vs. twice in the Garden. Using 4 mats is easier to follow action not of our team. Concessions were remarkably cheaper in Troy tho more limited in options.

We got what we expected in MSG - a lot of smoke (literally) and mirrors, fancy intros, etc. The one thing that startled me most for the "World's Most Famous Arena," which I'd been to before: one would think an arriving train passenger would find it "duck soup' to find and enter the Garden.
But the signage was unbelievably inadequate, making it amazingly difficult to find. I turned around twice -- and luckily found a small sign directing me "up" - so I climbed a narrow, informal stairway and finally found the Garden. Many of us agreed on the poor sign issue.
I sincerely hope my Lehigh team doesn't return soon, since I had never been tempted to attend the first two "Grapples" even with better college attractions.
