Grand Rapids Ballet Tickets

My mom, my grandaughter and myself really enjoyed last's Friday's ballet performance of Peter and the Wolf!! I wasn't sure what to expect, as I've never been to a (sort of) professional ballet performance anywhere - other than ballet part of a dance students end of season shows. We were pleasantly surprised with the length of the show since it was for young children & only around 35-40 minutes, the characters/dancers, choreographer (who demonstrated in a fun way, and had us all do some basic ballet steps), and the narrator!!

Beautiful theater especially for children to view the stage. The story was narrated and the length of production was great for kids. The movement was creative and interesting for young, old, new to dance and ballet lovers alike.

The Peter And The Wolf short performance for kids was wonderful. The activities ahead of time were perfect for my 6 year old, the introduction & engaging explanation of ballet to start the show was helpful and fun, and then the actual performance was lovely and the perfect length for kids. My kiddo appreciated the narration to help her follow the story. We had a great time.

Magical, so professional and classic, the dancers were so magnificent in their dancing and jumps and moves. Just a wonderful experience. Would go again for sure!

Grand Rapids Ballet's production of Sleeping Beauty was an amazing show.

Beauty in Motion! Wonderful sets and costumes! The only bewildering part of the ballet was the inclusion of other fairy tale characters-Riding Hood and the Wolf slowed down the ending of the show.

The ballet was fabulous. Will definitely go again!

Amazing production of Sleeping Beauty! Costumes and sets were gorgeous, dancing was incredible, and the music was flawless!

I've never been a fan of ballet. My wife dragged me to this. However, I became a fan after seeing the staging and the ballet performance itself. I don't know what I was expecting, but I came away feeling that I could go to future ballets and enjoy them.

My first ballet, the costumes were elegant, the ballerinas were amazing and the orchestra was magnificent. I thought there was going to be a little singing as it was my first time I didn’t know exactly what to expect, none-the-less it was still an awesome production/performance.
