Grace Potter and the Nocturnals have been creating exceptional music rooted in the classic rock era for over a decade and they’re showing no signs of slowing down. Vibrant frontwoman Grace Potter commands the stage with her incredible vocal prowess and shreds out wailing guitar solos on her Gibson Flying V with reckless abandon. The Nocturnals feed off her energy as they rip through fast-paced hits like "The Lion The Beast The Beat" and "Paris (Ooh La La)" to deliver a performance that fans won't forget. With their catchy rock tunes and perfect showmanship, Grace Potter and the Nocturnals will keep fans going all night, true to their name.
Hailing from Vermont, Grace Potter and the Nocturnals formed in 2002 when bandmates Grace Potter, Scott Tournet, and Matt Burr got together during their college years at St. Lawrence University. They began experimenting with their sound and soon they were playing more than 200 gigs a year around the country. After attracting attention from label execs with their 2005 independent release Nothing But the Water, the band signed with Hollywood Records and continued to tour the US. Their 2007 follow-up LP This Is Somewhere topped the US Heatseekers chart and included the songs "Apologies" and "Falling or Flying", which were featured on a number of popular television series. With two more Top 10 albums on the Billboard Rock charts, opening gigs for the Black Crowes and Dave Matthews Band, and numerous late night talk show appearances under their belt, Grace Potter and the Nocturnals are well on their way to becoming blues rock legends.
