Always enjoy WVU Theater
by DanMc on 10/4/13Gladys G Davis Theatre - MorgantownWe always enjoy attending WVU Theater productions and God of Carnage was no exception. God of Carnage is a four person play consisting of two married couples, parents of two boys who have had an altercation resulting in one of the boys losing two front teeth (and some minor nerve damage). The meeting has been scheduled by the parents of the injured boy to resolve the matter. What ensues is a thought provoking, often hilarious, dialogue which brings out the worst in each of the parents, surfacing their individual insecurities, priorities and prejudices. The sound, lighting and staging added to the presentation and made this for a very enjoyable evening. The Glady G. Davis Theater is a theater in the round which is a great venue for these types of plays.
