Glen Matlock Tickets

Glen Matlock & The Maestros, (Clem Burke, Gilby Clarke, Steve Fishman) put on a great, high energy show at the first of a 5 date West coast (kind of, if you include Vegas) tour playing a couple Pistols songs, some GM and Rick Kids tunes and some other covers. I don’t quite remember the set list due to rather severe intoxication, but it was a hit as far as I was concerned. Show was at the Voodoo Room at the SD House of Blues which is a small street-level room I didn’t know existed.

Had a great time. Matlock and the whole band had great energy (x5 for Burke - amazing to watch and listen to). Setlist was mostly from Consequences Coming with some older stuff and couple SP tunes thrown in. Really good stuff. I wasn't familiar prior to getting my tix, so listening to Consequences Coming in the weeks before showing up really helped be able to get into it and dance. The sound system was too loud for size venue. I love loud live music, but it was over-amping at times which takes away from the quality and also the intimacy of space (but I'd do it again!).
