Surprisingly lovely
Neil Simon Theatre - New York
I didn't go in expecting anything amazing, but was definitely surprised. It wasn't the best show I've ever seen, but the story line was adorable, the costuming was amazing, and after 3 days some of the songs are still in my head.

Gigi...a real shame it had to cose
Neil Simon Theatre - New York
Went with my mom and 14 year old niece. Wanted to see it but it had to rush to get there before the closing on 6/21. Expected it to be just OK since it was closing so quickly but was wrong. It was a great show with beautiful sets, good music and touching moments. I know the movie inside out and loved the way this was changed up from the movie - having Mamita sing "Thank Heaven for Little Girls" was an unexpected surprise. Very sad to see all of the efforts of these talented actors cut short. So glad that I got to go! A very happy memory shared with my family.

Gigi on Broadway Was OK!
Neil Simon Theatre - New York
Loved Vanessa Hudgins, but was bored at times. Some scenes were just too long.

Costuming is gorgeous!
Neil Simon Theatre - New York
I really loved this show and have seen it twice. To be honest I didn't expect much from Vanessa Hudgens as Gigi, but she was great. Victoria Clark is absolutely amazing in her role. Dee Hoty is quite impressive too. The staging is gorgeous and there is never a dull moment on stage. As my title said the costuming alone will transport you back to the early 1900's in France. I enjoyed all the music from this show very much. I will say that I have never seen the movie version, so I didn't have any preconceived notions to measure the Broadway show too.

Best Show Ever
Neil Simon Theatre - New York
I've been to many Broadway shows, but this is the best I've ever seen. The whole cast was outstanding and they didn't even make any mistakes on the night I went. Vanessa Hudgens perfected the role of Gigi and completely took over the show. She is an incredible performer on stage. I thought the whole cast worked so well together. I also really loved how much time everyone took after the show to meet fans. I'm so sad this show is ending, but I would love for it to come back soon.

Loved it!
Neil Simon Theatre - New York
Since my girls grew up watching the High School Musical movies, they were very excited to see Vanessa Hudgens in this musical. Vanessa was adorable in the role of Gigi, and the rest of the cast was fantastic as well. The singing and dancing was very good. Costumes were beautiful, especially the ladies hats. My husband and older daughter thought the story line could have been more interesting, but overall we enjoyed it. My girls said this was their favorite thing we did on our New York City vacation.

Paris ? More like Paris, Pennsylvania
Neil Simon Theatre - New York
So disappointed . Not a French accent to be found. Very good singing voices, but the whole show is built on the premise of being in Paris, it was lost in translation. Granted it's tough to find another Maurice Chevalier or Leslie Caron, but the charm was lost.
Set in the magical world of La Belle Epoque Paris, where fashion, glamour and passion prevail, Lerner and Loewe’s celebrated musical is a romantic comedy about one young woman's journey to find her true self... and her true love.
Vanessa Hudgens (Disney's High School Musical) leads a sensational cast featuring Corey Cott (Newsies), Tony Award® winner Victoria Clark (Light in the Piazza) and Tony nominees Dee Hoty (Mamma Mia) and Howard McGillin (Phantom of the Opera) in this Tony and Academy Award®-winning musical featuring glorious songs such as “Thank Heaven for Little Girls,” “I Remember It Well” and “The Night They Invented Champagne.” Following its run at the Kennedy Center, this glistening production, with a new book by Heidi Thomas (PBS's "Call the Midwife") and direction by Eric Schaeffer (Follies), brings the city of light to Broadway.
