GHOSTFACE KILLAH IN CONCERT:

Ghostface Killah has been burning up the mic with his clever storytelling skills and rapid-fire rhymes since his early days in the legendary hip hop collective Wu-Tang Clan. Killah’s intelligent and diverse flows paint vivid portraits of the harsh realities of street life, and his evocative rhymes have made him one of hip-hop’s most acclaimed wordsmiths. In concert he spits his raps with razor-sharp precision while his DJ flips through familiar tracks like “Back Like That”, “Apollo Kids”, and “Cherchez La Ghost” at a breakneck pace. Ticket buyers can try to rap along, but they’ll soon learn that only the acrobatic tongue of Ghostface Killah can handle the veritable tour de force that the original Ironman brings to the mic on tour.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Ghostface Killah, aka Dennis Coles, was born in 1970 on Staten Island, NY. As a roommate of The Wu-Tang Clan’s de facto leader RZA, he was instrumental in bringing together various members of the groundbreaking hip hop collective. Though he flourished in an ensemble role on the group’s pivotal 1993 debut album Enter the Wu-Tang Clan (36 Chambers), he was featured more prominently two years later on Raekwon’s solo album Only Made 4 Cuban Linx…. Killah’s 1996 solo debut Ironman is often considered one of the best solo albums to come out of the Wu-Tang Clan, and his 2000 sophomore offering Supreme Clientele further established his trademark blend of vivid storytelling and warp speed rhymes. After a number of successful collaborations with heaveweights like Missy Elliot and Jadakiss, he continued to slay with the Mafioso-inspired street tales of 2006’s Fishscale. In addition to working with the various members of Wu-Tang Clan, Ghostface Killah has collaborated with Ne-Yo, MF Doom, and Badbadnotgood in recent years, and his live performances remain an impressive display of unparalleled rhyming skills and storytelling brilliance.

I ordered founders room tickets over the summer for the same show and it was canceled for zero reason. It looked to be open during the show. Overall great as always

Gza Rae and Ghost put on a great show

by The god L on 11/23/21House of Blues Boston - Boston

Love seeing these guys they rock a crowd like they did when they were in their 20s. Unfortunately the lack of attention to detail with the meet and greet afterward kind of tainted the experience.

The Performance was excellent and the energy they gave off was GREAT!!! I would see them again in a Heartbeat!!! They performed all of the songs that were hits and mainstream and they also performed the hidden gems that weren't necessarily mainstream!!!

    Could've watched at home...

by AJM on 11/23/21House of Blues Boston - Boston

Unfortunately my experience with House of Blues was anything but great. First, I paid $100 for the tickets -- one of the cheaper ones -- but with no information that it was not only on a "mezzanine" but also that if you didn't get a railing space (maybe about 70 spots) then you would not see the stage. At all. It's one thing to have someone standing in front of you and the stage being higher up -- and a whole other where it's standing room looking down. We ended up having to stand in a brightly lit hallway watching a tv monitor. People were leaving for drinks and then saving 5 or 6 spots at a time. When we tried to move the workers told us to move back to our end. On top of that, random people were smoking and without their masks. I was disappointed because these tickets were a gift for my boyfriend who is a huge Wu Tang Clan fan. We had to rap along and dance to a TV screen -- could've avoided driving 9 hours from Northern Maine and just watched on my couch...

    Wu Tang Brings It

by WuTangFan on 11/19/21Revolution Live - Ft Lauderdale

Great set by GZA, Ghostface Killah, & Raekwon playing a good mix of their own music as well as Wu Tang Classics, but I easily could have come to the show 2-3hrs after the doors opened . The doors opened at 9 and and members of Wu Tang didn't hit the stage til slightly after midnight. One of the openers Imperial brought the energy, but the other 2 hours of waiting for Wu Tang to get on stage was filled with a Christian rap group called Young Blessed Men that felt very out of place, and 2 DJ's that just played classic rap tracks with a bit of scratching, which was fine for a bit, but got tiresome. Once Wu Tang was on stage they put on a great show, but Revolution Live has some serious audio problems with this mics buzzing in and out all night, and the previous show at Revolution a few weeks prior had audio issues as well. Overall outside of Revolution needing to fix their audio and the main act not going on til past midnight, it was a great show!

    Worth the wait?

by Clover on 11/16/21Revolution Live - Ft Lauderdale

Ill keep this short. 3 hour wait for the show. Way too crowded for a stand only venue. Drug usage throughout the crowd. Performance was EXCELLENT once ot started but 3 hours was a bit much.
